eSJayDee Posted December 5, 2012 Posted December 5, 2012 Oops. Didn't see this. Just posted something similar. Gotta say, Take Five is one of the few songs that you can listen to 1000s of times w/o it getting tired.
BuffaloBud Posted December 5, 2012 Posted December 5, 2012 If I am not mistaken, recently inducted into the Kennedy Center Honors. They did a tribute to him that featured his sons. A musicians musician.
Chef Jim Posted December 6, 2012 Posted December 6, 2012 As a drummer I loved the Take Five album. It had the meters of the songs on the back cover. As a kid, hell now as an adult, I love to count out the 9/8 meter for Blue Rondo a la Turk 2-2-2-3, 2-2-2-3, 2-2-2-3,3-3-3 RIP Mr Brubeck. You music will live forever!
