NoSaint Posted December 4, 2012 Posted December 4, 2012 Before the Giants picked him up, he was on the streets. He's a rags to riches guy who has been able to keep Herzlich on the bench. I sense that both parties will figure out a way to keep him as a Giant. Yup. Agreed on all fronts. I think he's a good story for them, but probably not a great option for most others. Wouldn't fix our problems so it wouldnt be a good situation but is well liked and not expected to fix anything on that D if that makes sense.
BringBackFergy Posted December 4, 2012 Author Posted December 4, 2012 I think you're right...haven't watched a ton of G men football but have seen him in on alot of plays which I guess is indicative of MLB Nice stunt there Holy chit. Threaded that.
San Jose Bills Fan Posted December 4, 2012 Posted December 4, 2012 So the Redskins seem like they want to take away Nicks and Cruz and Eli's done a nice job of spreading the ball to others.
BringBackFergy Posted December 4, 2012 Author Posted December 4, 2012 Eli has a knack for doing that doesn't he? Amazing really. RG3 might make a game of it in second half. Wowwww. SJBF..you said he should get small on returns...that hit was harder than the first one. .
San Jose Bills Fan Posted December 4, 2012 Posted December 4, 2012 Wowwww. SJBF..you said he should get small on returns...that hit was harder than the first one. Different player though, I think.
BringBackFergy Posted December 4, 2012 Author Posted December 4, 2012 I like how the Skins keep pounding the run...might only get 1 or 2 yds one time but 8 the next. Staying with it.
San Jose Bills Fan Posted December 4, 2012 Posted December 4, 2012 This is a bit of a throwback game. A relatively high amount of running. Hard hitting, low scoring. Blackburn has nice size/speed if a bit clunky. Hits real well.
BringBackFergy Posted December 4, 2012 Author Posted December 4, 2012 Yes he does..throwback game is a good term. Good offense, good D, good hits, fun to watch.
BringBackFergy Posted December 4, 2012 Author Posted December 4, 2012 The run definitely opened the pass Gruden made a good point...they have to respect Griffin so that frees up Garcon. The four man backfield was interesting there...QB, RB, FB and TE
truth on hold Posted December 4, 2012 Posted December 4, 2012 Not to bust on fitz too much (I already did that starting in pre season and havent bothered in a while), but how in the heck are we going to compete against teams with QBs this good?
BringBackFergy Posted December 4, 2012 Author Posted December 4, 2012 Wilson is a fast kid. Take away the option and Griffin's speed, Chan's offense looks alot like this...shotgun formation, single or no back, quick slants, let the WR get YAC...add running game. Of course Skins offense looks better because RG3 is a threat running and has a better arm. Not to bust on fitz too much (I already did that starting in pre season and havent bothered in a while), but how in the heck are we going to compete against teams with QBs this good? Sorry Joe- I meant to quote you on that last one.

BringBackFergy Posted December 4, 2012 Author Posted December 4, 2012 Amazing what talent can do for an offense. Sure is...can only dream what Griffin, Stevie, Nelson, Chandler, Spiller and Fred could do....*waking up* Darn it. Time for comeback number 652 for Eli
BringBackFergy Posted December 4, 2012 Author Posted December 4, 2012 LOL...like a crash dummy That was the right call.
truth on hold Posted December 4, 2012 Posted December 4, 2012 (edited) LOL...like a crash dummy That was the right call. Thats what scares me about him. On the field I like him better than luck, but given the injury risk I'd probably pick luck given a choice Edited December 4, 2012 by Joe_the_6_pack
San Jose Bills Fan Posted December 4, 2012 Posted December 4, 2012 Yeah, RG3 is really playing with fire. He simply doesn't care to protect himself. Boy, the Giants D didn't show much fight on those last several plays. Lots of standing around.
BringBackFergy Posted December 4, 2012 Author Posted December 4, 2012 Good game guys...thanks for hangin out. I can't use the Shoutbox on this phone so a game thread is the alternative. Have a great night...and Merry Christmas
