He was a first round lock before all of the issues came into play.
TheMadCap
I'd take a chance on him, say, 3rd or 4th round. Fourth, preferably, we need LBs something terrible...
C.Biscuit97
http://nfl.si.com/20...cts/?xid=si_nfl Curious to see where everyone thinks he should go and will go. He was a first round lock before all of the issues came into play. He wasn't a 1st round lock because of his size and he's not very fast. He probably fits as more of a safety but he would be very small there. The guy was a playmaker. Personally, I don't think what he did was that bad but it shows poor decision making and not learning from your mistakes. I'd avoid him at all costs. NoSaint
long thread in the college section. hes small (only 5'9) and not particularly fast (4.5ish). he doesnt play man near as well as zone. as CB97 said - might project to safety better with his skill set but his frame is still really small for that. hes kind of a tweener that just had a nose for the ball over a relatively short stretch of games (one season, which he also served a suspension during). id be amazed if he goes in the top 3 rounds. think janoris jenkins who still got into 2 but far less coverage skills and more consistent baggage. papazoid
he has 2nd round talent.....so based on his lack of discipline...i project he goes in 3rd round. janoris jenkins is a similar case.....1st round talent......taken in 2nd round... filthymcnasty08
I can see HB winding up with a "players HC" that came from college atmosphere - SF, Sea.....to name a couple. Just don't want to see him back there in next years nickel package playing for the hoodie.
PromoTheRobot
At 5-foot-9 and 175 pounds, Mathieu lacks the prototypical size of an elite cornerback. Any team that selects him also may have to adjust its defensive playbook Another under-sized, one-season wonder. I guess we never learn our lessons. Guest buffalo bill
this my dream draft rd.1 tyler wilson theres only two good qb in the draft so we cant wait, hes 6'4 and is good and big arm, geno smith and manti teo wont be on the board, rd.2- c j mosley, alex ogletree or minter from lsu are middlelinebackers good enough for us rd.3 any 6'3 or 6'4 wideout that can catch and strecth the field. rd.4 tyrann mathieu who we turn into a safety george wilson is getting old. rd.5 d-lineman rd.6 o-lineman. thank you!! i should be the general manager.oh yea keep chan gailey as head coach they play well for him just get a young offense cord. keep dave wyannstad stay in the 4 3. travis jackson stays back up. get rid of fitzpatrick and thigpen. use brad smith as qb/wr but use him more as a wideout... thats without free agency dam im good. thats why i am buffalo bill!!! and the name of the football is name wilson are owner name is wilson it makes since tyler wilson!! its a match made in heaven!! Drop Kick Flutie
He'll go in the 7th if at all. Look at Dennard, punched a cop and fell to the 7th after being a 2nd round prospect. Look at Burfict, he went undrafted.
Guest howardvan
Another under-sized, one-season wonder. I guess we never learn our lessons. PTR He was starting as a true freshman with the same kind of production as in his final year. He has instinct like no other and will be a good free safety in the league. He will be a steal in the draft.
