(716) Posted December 3, 2012 Posted December 3, 2012 Does anyone know why Jim Tressel was at the Bills game today? I saw pictures from the game and the night before of him, Jim Kelly, and Dabo Swinney but haven't been able to figure out why.
drinkTHEkoolaid Posted December 3, 2012 Posted December 3, 2012 I too am curious. I don't see the obvious link
NoSaint Posted December 3, 2012 Posted December 3, 2012 Swinney has several connections. Spiller, the Kelly on his roster etc.... Tressel could be anything. Could just be close to some scouts or assistants here. Could have been jax related
Buftex Posted December 3, 2012 Posted December 3, 2012 Going pro next season? Anyone see him with Buddy?
/dev/null Posted December 3, 2012 Posted December 3, 2012 He was meeting George Siefert at the airport
JPS Posted December 3, 2012 Posted December 3, 2012 Tressel is not from the SEC. I would believe Gene Cizik, but not Jim Tressel.
Haven Moses Posted December 3, 2012 Posted December 3, 2012 Hard to believe that all those guys fit in the Taurus.
Ramius Posted December 3, 2012 Posted December 3, 2012 Tressel HC Dabo OC? Ralph couldnt afford Dabo.
White Linen Posted December 3, 2012 Posted December 3, 2012 Ralph couldnt afford Dabo. Couldn't? Yes he could.
NoSaint Posted December 3, 2012 Posted December 3, 2012 It would be incredibly disrespectful to have those guys there if for coordinator or head coach feelers. I think it was simply social
rick in hartford Posted December 3, 2012 Posted December 3, 2012 It would be incredibly disrespectful to have those guys there if for coordinator or head coach feelers. I think it was simply social that product we've been stuck with for 13 years isn't incredibly disrespectful???? Rob J, Losman, Bledsoe, Trent, Fitz, should I continue.
1B4IDie Posted December 3, 2012 Posted December 3, 2012 If you're trying to recruit a coach inviting them to this chese cake game was a smart move. If you're trying to recruit a player you to bring them to the tough intra conference matchup you bring them in for a home coming one sied party. The Jags defense looked like the Bills defense in weeks 1-8. It was amazing how everything worked on them including the wildcat. I don't think Gailey has done a great job but I don't know if this is thr right time to start the coaching coursel. Gene Chizick was a bum before Cam Netwon and will be one after him. Dabo Sweeney made lemon aid out of lemons but he isn't really NFL quality HC in my opinion. The Sweater Vest would be really interesting as he could go either way in the NFL. OUt of the 3, I'd go with the Sweater Vest. That whole Tattoo\Car thing was a bit over played. It wasn't really like he was handing out duffel bags of money or atleast he didn't caught for that. He got a pretty bad rap for not much wrong.
RyanC883 Posted December 3, 2012 Posted December 3, 2012 Hey, he can play his players in the NFL, and they can get all the tattoos they want for free. Would be a good move for him.

jcbillsfan Posted December 3, 2012 Posted December 3, 2012 Reaching here but. He did work for the colts while Polain was still there. Couldn't happen. Could it

jcbillsfan Posted December 3, 2012 Posted December 3, 2012 As for the Ohio state stuff. Seems trivial after the penn state scandal. Ohio state did a ten dollar crime and got a 2 year sentence.

Exactly plus they could have totally blown up the BCS. An undefeated OSU team would have been in the title game right?
