mjt328 Posted December 3, 2012 Posted December 3, 2012 Why do our cornerbacks never turn around to look for the football? We have watched Leodis McKelvin waste his talent for 4-5 years, simply because he has no idea when to turn around and get his hands up. Today, watching Ron Brooks was absolutely brutal. I'm sure this guy has the skills to play, but what the heck? Also, I think Stephon Gilmore needs to work on being more subtle with his contact. I absolutely love his physical play, but he's getting flagged way too often.
sodbuster Posted December 3, 2012 Posted December 3, 2012 I must have yelled "play the ball" about a dozen times today. This is what separates an average db from a playmaker.
boyst Posted December 3, 2012 Posted December 3, 2012 Get them help over the top and/or a safety that can flex cover and this would be different. Byrd is a ball hawk who floats in space, Wilson is slow to step to the play.
Pirate Angel Posted December 3, 2012 Posted December 3, 2012 For his first real action and as much as he was targeted ron brooks IMO wasnt bad....he had some weak calls on him, but he was always in his guys face
