Jerry Jabber Posted December 2, 2012 Posted December 2, 2012 I think SJ, Wood, Hairston & McKelvin all left the game today. Anyone word on their injuries today?
bills_fan_in_raleigh Posted December 2, 2012 Posted December 2, 2012 I think SJ, Wood, Hairston & McKelvin all left the game today. Anyone word on their injuries today? . I was about to ask the same had to drop off during post game show
Britbillsfan Posted December 2, 2012 Posted December 2, 2012 Tim Graham tweeted Wood looked grim with his leg immobilised, although Chan was saying it was too early to tell.
Jerry Jabber Posted December 2, 2012 Author Posted December 2, 2012 Tim Graham tweeted Wood looked grim with his leg immobilised, although Chan was saying it was too early to tell. Damn!!! I like Wood and I feel the O-line is much better when he is in there, but it's seems like he can't catch a break in regards to getting injured.
Billshank Redemption Posted December 2, 2012 Posted December 2, 2012 really hoping all of them are okay, there all critical players in their own right. Mckelvin has really surprised me this year and Brooks filled in pretty damn good I thought.
AKA Bigdog Posted December 2, 2012 Posted December 2, 2012 Wood was a nice shot at a long term solution but if he's out for the saason with another bad leg injury its time to cut bait and draft another center.
mrags Posted December 2, 2012 Posted December 2, 2012 Brooks for picked in early and often. That part sucked. Luckily he Didnt give up much. Whoever number 60 is. That's who was covering for Wood. Yes he left the field with his leg immobilized and raised. Hate to say it, but its looking like we need a new Center. The guy just can't stay healthy. He's got major leg issues. Has every year. I love the guy. One of the best players we have IMO, but we need to find a good replacement. At the very least, get a C that can play interior line. Get one early in the draft and double down in your OL.

MattM Posted December 2, 2012 Posted December 2, 2012 Urbik for wood.....i think That's correct, meaning we'll have a 2nd string RG and 3rd string RT in there for however long Wood and Hairston are out....
HOUSE Posted December 2, 2012 Posted December 2, 2012 I slipped on a tile in the bathroom....seems okay though. Thanks for asking
Rubes Posted December 2, 2012 Posted December 2, 2012 At one point in the second half we had Urbik at center, and Snow and Young were both in. Ugh.
Dragonborn10 Posted December 2, 2012 Posted December 2, 2012 Urbik can play center... is he a FA at the end of the year? I am so glad we have four QB's on our roster who can play RT and RG in a pinch...
bobobonators Posted December 2, 2012 Posted December 2, 2012 i really feel for Wood but i agree w/getting a replacement. calling him injury prone is an understatement - he has piss-poor luck. poor fella. hopefully it's nothing season ending and he's only out a week or two, but it didn't look good at all...
marauderswr80 Posted December 2, 2012 Posted December 2, 2012 That's correct, meaning we'll have a 2nd string RG and 3rd string RT in there for however long Wood and Hairston are out.... Those backups have a lot of quality playing time! I have confidence!
truth on hold Posted December 3, 2012 Posted December 3, 2012 SJ did a post game interview and indicated it was a just a slight pull. mckelvin "back tightness" one wouldnt expect would be serious. hairston didn't look too concerned going to locker room. Wood was on cart but reading his facial expression wasn't defeatist. Maybe with his history the cast afterward was precautionary. Who knows but wouldn't be surprised if Johnson and McKelvin are "probable", Hairston "questionable", and Wood out 2 - 3 weeks. ** fingers crossed **

I hope Wood doesn't have a serious injury.
bbb Posted December 3, 2012 Posted December 3, 2012 From what I heard, Wood even went back in the game after his injury before pulling himself out for good. Could it be that bad if he did that?
