The defense faces trash cans. Sometimes all 11 opposing players are represented by props. Sometimes it's just a few trash cans mixed in with practice-squad players, a group not on the Falcons' active roster who practice with the team."
Numark Posted December 1, 2012 Posted December 1, 2012 That explains a lot. The props just don't simulate playoff caliber games
Keukasmallies Posted December 1, 2012 Posted December 1, 2012 Maybe they could ask players to bring in plastic garbage bags filled with newspapers from home.
FluffHead Posted December 1, 2012 Posted December 1, 2012 not an uncommon practice. when teaching alignments and assignments the high school I coach at often uses tires or garbage cans as offensive linemen
NoSaint Posted December 1, 2012 Posted December 1, 2012 "Are we out of garbage cans again? Jim come pretend to be a garbage can pretending to be a linebacker.... Lord knows its all your good for"

5 Wide Posted December 2, 2012 Posted December 2, 2012 The Bills do the same thing, the only difference is they have most of their trash cans signed to the 53 man roster.
CSBill Posted December 2, 2012 Posted December 2, 2012 The Bills do the same thing, the only difference is they have most of their trash cans signed to the 53 man roster. you knew it was coming, the only question was, "Who would be the first?"
VABills Posted December 2, 2012 Posted December 2, 2012 I've heard of that trash can, get'er done Buddy.
Billshank Redemption Posted December 2, 2012 Posted December 2, 2012 I just dont get what the point of this is?
