damj Posted December 1, 2012 Posted December 1, 2012 I have someone from work crossing tomorrow for the game from Toronto... any recommendations on which bridge is his safest bet?
mrags Posted December 1, 2012 Posted December 1, 2012 Not Lewiston. I can ask my fiancé which one if you like but I won't know until after 9pm probably.
dhg Posted December 1, 2012 Posted December 1, 2012 Not Lewiston. I can ask my fiancé which one if you like but I won't know until after 9pm probably. Agree. Definitely not Lewiston. Your better bet is Peace Bridge or Rainbow Bridge. You can check wait times here: http://mobile.peacebridge.com/ Or here: http://niagarafallsbridges.com/traffic_conditions.php3
mrags Posted December 1, 2012 Posted December 1, 2012 Thanks DH, was gonna say Peace Bridge but honestly if I was gonna check I thought I'd just wait until I knew for sure. But yeah, either of those bridges should be fine. Besides, it's not like we're gonna have a packed house tomorrow. It'll be just like a normal Sunday, except about 10 more cars of people going to the game. Lol

PromoTheRobot Posted December 1, 2012 Posted December 1, 2012 (edited) Isn't there a 4th bridge called the Whirlpool? http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Whirlpool_Rapids_Bridge PTR Edited December 1, 2012 by PromoTheRobot
dhg Posted December 1, 2012 Posted December 1, 2012 Isn't there a 4th bridge called the Whirlpool? http://en.m.wikipedi...l_Rapids_Bridge PTR Yes, but you need a special pass called Nexus to go over that bridge.
nick in* england Posted December 1, 2012 Posted December 1, 2012 Rainbow Bridge. Unless you can be super early, then just do Peace.
ganesh Posted December 1, 2012 Posted December 1, 2012 Rainbow Bridge. Unless you can be super early, then just do Peace. Agreed...Peace Bridge is always very crowded with the Trucks. Rainbow is always a cake walk
plenzmd1 Posted December 1, 2012 Posted December 1, 2012 We stay in NFC Ontario often fit the Pats games, Rainbow has never been more than a 5 minute wait ..only caveat is tat is before 9 AM
mrags Posted December 2, 2012 Posted December 2, 2012 Ok. Confirmation from the Fiancé is that the Rainbow Bridge will be the fastest way between the hours of 7-9am. Hope this helps.
millbank Posted December 2, 2012 Posted December 2, 2012 http://www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/new-neuf/twitter-eng.html This link will tell you respective wait times at each bridge...
