MarkyMannn Posted November 30, 2012 Posted November 30, 2012 So now it'll have to be "Ralph and Jay are cheap". Who is cheaper? Rosen > Ralph
FitzShowUsYourTitz Posted December 1, 2012 Posted December 1, 2012 Jay = Cheap you beat me to it. "Jay is cheap"
Fan in Chicago Posted December 1, 2012 Posted December 1, 2012 "Fear" was his word. I said I didn't want to lose my seniority when it came time for playoff/super bowl tickets. So John was indeed correct about you being an eternal optimist
JoeF Posted December 1, 2012 Posted December 1, 2012 I guess we are blessed to have a Pro Football team that evokes personal passion. We are blessed that we had an unprecedented success run 20 years ago... We are blessed to have that eternal hope that comes with every late summer and early fall. The blessings do outweigh the curses -- but its just so damn frustrating. Nice article JW and you picked a perfect fan from among us to quote.
CowgirlsFan Posted December 1, 2012 Posted December 1, 2012 Every time I see an AP story it makes me proud that we have one among us... then sad that he has to endure what we do as a Bills fan. It may be worse. Knowing the inside info, knowing where Thurman helmet was, Flutie's real height... the poor guy. Nonetheless, he is a staple to our Bills life. A fixture to what many of us left behind in WNY and a piece that holds us closer to our team. Even though his credibility must be questioned if he has to quote Jay...what's next? Asking Stojan on the 2013 outlook? Well said! I had the honor of meeting him at the Saturday night and Sunday morning tailgates for the 2010 Home Opener. I could still be talking to him now.
Mike In Illinois Posted December 2, 2012 Posted December 2, 2012 Let's not lose sight of the fact that this is Jay's 25th year as a season ticket holder. As a Bills fan from the Midwest who is not able to get to Bills games that often let me congratulate you on your silver anniversary.

Flutie Flakes Posted December 2, 2012 Posted December 2, 2012 Great read JW and a nice ending to the article with the quotes from Jay! BTW, I met Doug Flutie in Albany at an event the Bills were holding to try to sell more corporate seating. He is 5' 7" at most.
