todd Posted January 4, 2005 Posted January 4, 2005 As far as I know, he's a FA. And Willis needs a vet to learn from. Smith can't carry the load for a full year, but I think he'd be a good backup, along with another big young RB. Shaud Williams is OK, but he's not going to do well in a power running game. Neither is Joe Burns.
Mark VI Posted January 4, 2005 Posted January 4, 2005 I do like the Vet RB idea for a solid backup to Willis. I just don't believe Smith would come here. He may retire now or in a year. Why come north to be a backup ? What about Antowain Smith ?
Dr. Fong Posted January 4, 2005 Posted January 4, 2005 Why does Willis need a vet to learn from? I thought that's what an RB coach was for.
