djp14150 Posted November 28, 2012 Posted November 28, 2012 Then why not he just go and coach in Cleveland?
Buffalo Barbarian Posted November 28, 2012 Posted November 28, 2012 http://wreg.com/2012...to-lure-gruden/ He might receive an ownership stake in the Cleveland Browns as part of his deal with UT How in the world do you get ownership of a pro team and coach a college team?
G-Daddy Posted November 28, 2012 Posted November 28, 2012 (edited) Barbarian...read the second paragraph of the linked story. FWIW, Gruden stated there is no truth to this story on mike and mike. http://www.govolsxtra.com/news/2012/nov/28/memphis-report-says-gruden-ut-stake-browns/ Edited November 28, 2012 by DGW54321
BillsFan-4-Ever Posted November 28, 2012 Posted November 28, 2012 the more I hear Gruden the less impressed I am with the man.
BuffaloWings Posted November 28, 2012 Posted November 28, 2012 He's not going anywhere. He's said publicly that he loves his gig with MNF and wouldn't leave it. That said, expect him to take the job tomorrow.
Phlegm Alley Posted November 28, 2012 Posted November 28, 2012 I think there would be a conflict of interest in being the coach of a college football team and part owner of an NFL team. Could someone in that position stash talent on the college football team to be hidden from other teams and then end up on the Browns?
Max997 Posted November 28, 2012 Posted November 28, 2012 Gruden likes the attention he gets every year too much to actually take a job
