The Poojer Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 i haven't read all the game day 'anal'ysis threads, but what i have read puts the blame squarely on Fitz and Coaching...no one but me seems to pin this loss on SJ13 being caught from behind after catching, basically in stride....no other WR in this league gets run down like that....that was a game changer....sure we should have still punched it in... also...anyone notice on 1st and goal at the 1 FJ almost dropped the ball....again!!!!! oh and the dickerson drop....too many drops to keep track of actually....
filthymcnasty08 Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 SJ13 got open on a great move and caught the ball for this team...that earns him immunity
The Poojer Posted November 25, 2012 Author Posted November 25, 2012 i call BS....he should have scored 'easily'..he does this is a different outcome today... SJ13 got open on a great move and caught the ball for this team...that earns him immunity

CodeMonkey Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 SJ is not, has never been, and will never be, fast. The only way he sticks on any NFL team is his ability to get open.. Of course he is going to be caught on that play.
Omar Little Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 Johnson had 106 yards and saved Fitz's ass on yet another late-game INT. He deserves zero blame for this loss.
Optometric Insight Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 Stevie is definitely not fast and every time he catches a long pass, he cuts back across the field. He did it at the KC this year, he did it at the Cinci game last year, and he's done it every other time he has caught a deep pass.
26CornerBlitz Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 Johnson had 106 yards and saved Fitz's ass on yet another late-game INT. He deserves zero blame for this loss. I agree with this message.
The Poojer Posted November 25, 2012 Author Posted November 25, 2012 ok, everyone is talking about his limitations and how we just need to deal with it...but apparently the same isn't afforded to Fitz....he needs to exceed expectations every snap of every game or else he sucks royally.....BS!!!!!
dave mcbride Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 There was actually another db (safety) with a good angle on him. He had no chance. He actually did really well to et a dozen more yards than he should have.
Coach Tuesday Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 (edited) You are mad at him for not being faster? Get a grip dude. Try getting faster sometime. Edited November 25, 2012 by Coach Tuesday

Completely different discussion for a QB with so many obvious limitations and warts, Stevie is a good enough player to contribute to a winning team. Fitz, on the other hand, is most definitely not.

The Poojer Posted November 25, 2012 Author Posted November 25, 2012 I'm not a #1 WR in the professional football ranks....yeah i do want him to be faster! That's his job! You are mad at him for not being faster? Get a grip dude. Try getting faster sometime.
TakeYouToTasker Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 Not having game-breaking speed is not an issue of player failure, it's an issue of genetics. Perhaps next we can get on him about the shape of his ears.
Saratoga Leo Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 I'm not a #1 WR in the professional football ranks....yeah i do want him to be faster! That's his job! I hope your other 15165 posts are more insightful than the BS you are spouting in this thread.

What? The guys not a burner, this has been known since he's been in the NFL. He's still a good receiver BECAUSE he can get open, thats his skill set. Surprised you haven't started a thread on Spiller getting caught by Bethea on his long run. I mean obviously Spiller should be able to outrun a Safety, right? Edited November 25, 2012 by Wayne Cubed
Omar Little Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 Stevie Johnson: Legitimately above-average NFL starting receiver. Ryan Fitzpatrick: Legitimately below-average NFL starting quarterback. That's why Bills fans like Johnson and pile on Fitzpatrick. It's pretty much unfathomable that some people who watch the Bills are still defending Fitzpatrick at this point. Give it up.
filthymcnasty08 Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 Completely different discussion for a QB with so many obvious limitations and warts, Stevie is a good enough player to contribute to a winning team. Fitz, on the other hand, is most definitely not. This. And the Fitz sympathizers need to put it to rest already. This is insane.
