Optometric Insight Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 Last QB we traded for hasn't even been activated.
Bangarang Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 There are posters here that are worse at posting than the Bills are at football.
Omar Little Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 lol. He's worse than fitz. Uh, do you watch football? Smith isn't great, but he's significantly better than Fitzpatrick.
H2o Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 Uh, do you watch football? Smith isn't great, but he's significantly better than Fitzpatrick. Noodle arm, captain checkdown, but accurate where he does throw the ball
KD in CA Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 There are posters here that are worse at posting than the Bills are at football. That might have to be my new sig line.
Omar Little Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 Noodle arm, captain checkdown, but accurate where he does throw the ball Smith and Fitz are both lousy at throwing downfield. The difference is that Smith makes far fewer mistakes. Smith is clearly the better of the two, though he's certainly not a franchise QB.
KD in CA Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 Uh, do you watch football? Smith isn't great, but he's significantly better than Fitzpatrick. Yeah, on the 49ers, playing for Harbaugh. What do you think he'd do in Buffalo with this coaching staff?
Hapless Bills Fan Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 Get er done. Great idea, let's stock up on QB who suck when they're asked to run the offense and who play very solidly when the play calling is >50% run plays.
thewildrabbit Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 C'mon guys..too many gray cells flooded with alcohol? Alex Smith was considered a huge #1 bust until Jim Harbaugh took over as HC. Smith works in that SF offense because its a heavy run first, stout defense type team. Kinda funny how 2nd year QB Colin Kaepernick looked awesome last week in the same system. Alex Smith would be about equal to Tyler Thigpen in Chan Gaileys offense... If somehow Smith did become a Buffalo Bill what on earth make you think he could assimilate the Bills offense when so many others have failed.
Omar Little Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 Yeah, on the 49ers, playing for Harbaugh. What do you think he'd do in Buffalo with this coaching staff? For one, not make as many moronic mistakes as Fitzpatrick. The Bills should be running most of the time anyway. Gailey's too dumb to get that, though.
Sisyphean Bills Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 Are the 49ers remotely interested in dumping him? Is there a single football reason to believe Alex Smith would be an upgrade in Chan Gailey's system?
KD in CA Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 For one, not make as many moronic mistakes as Fitzpatrick. The Bills should be running most of the time anyway. Gailey's too dumb to get that, though. And what exactly are you willing to give up (that the 49ers would accept) to get this marginal improvement over Fitz?
Fixxxer Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 Dumbest post of the day! I agree, everyone know is git and not get, sheeez
Omar Little Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 And what exactly are you willing to give up (that the 49ers would accept) to get this marginal improvement over Fitz? Not very much. I like how just because i said Smith > Fitz, people here are acting like I'm some huge Smith advocate. I'm not. He's OK; that's it.
