Bufcomments Posted November 26, 2012 Posted November 26, 2012 Ur tire fire reference was so appropriate. I actually like a lot of the players on this team. We have decent talent and terrible coaching. And a horrible starting QB. Not kicking the FG at the 34 was maddening. And continuously putting the game on Fitzie shows that Gailey does not know how to win w the players that he and Nix have assembled. bottom line is wins and losses. We are 5-15 in our last 20 games. That is terrible. We are one of the weakest Teams in the league in the way we play and the way we compete. Fitz puts absolutely no fear in the opposition, the same goes with Gailey. Changes will have to be made, and hopefully very soon. 5-15 in last 20. All games Fitz started. We need a new QB . Seriously
Sisyphean Bills Posted November 26, 2012 Posted November 26, 2012 Fitzpatrick has never had a winning record in his career. Maybe it is time to look behind the curtain on the notion that he's going to lead some team to the playoffs soon. http://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/F/FitzRy00.htm
BuffaninATL Posted November 26, 2012 Posted November 26, 2012 The defensive secondary still left acres of open space in their zones. I guess they are all in different libraries back there. as opposed to the offensive secondary ...?....
HalftimeAdjustment Posted November 26, 2012 Posted November 26, 2012 1) Gailey. He made bad decisions, especially in terms of the run/pass mix but also the punt. Gailey put Fitz into a situation where he is not capable of performing (pass on virtually every down in 2nd half). Does not run from a standard handoff enough - when we do, we have good success. We tend to lose more yards on toss-outs and other plays designed to start side-to-side (as opposed to plays starting from the middle where the RB chooses to go in or out). 2) Fitzpatrick. Cannot pull out the game when it is put on his shoulders (see #1). 3) Bruce DeHaven. Oops, our special teams are not good. Great special teams do not win a lot of games (see the Jauron era) but bad special teams lose enough games to matter (see Jones, Ronnie). 4) The secondary. Our defense played well overall, but let us down at some critical moments primarily in coverage on 3rd and long. 5) Ralph Wilson. The curse of Doug Flutie continues, and Ralph is to blame.
hmsmystic Posted November 26, 2012 Posted November 26, 2012 What bothers me most is that durung this 13 year tire fire, this arguably is one of the more talented teams. It's at the same time arguably the worst coached. You can't win no matter who the players are when the coaches shoot the team in its collective foot with bad play calling me poor decision making. No no no. Horrible linebackers Below average SS and #2,3 and 4 cb Poop depth on D line Average #1 WR with awful #2-#10 WR One of the 10 worst starting QBs in the league We can't compete on the field
dutmost Posted November 26, 2012 Posted November 26, 2012 Gameplanning again like almost every week....Opponents must be ecstatic knowing CJ Spiller will only see 10- 19 touches a game......utterly ridiculous. You have a QB that struggles with accuracy more often than not.. but you are willing to throw 1st and 2nd down. Then expect him to convert 3rd and long and pretty much negate one of the biggest threats in the NFL on 3rd down.... Side note *defense is playing better... ......Anyways, If WE can see that Fitz can't win games on his own why does this pathetic coaching staff keep putting him in a position to do it time in and time again...I've seen enough of Chan Gailey beard or no beard on the sidelines with half-eyes on...Time to turn over this coaching staff and TIME to see if TAVARRIS JACKSON can complete passes downfield to open receivers before this season is over.
Wayne Cubed Posted November 26, 2012 Posted November 26, 2012 Fitz sucks.....you think he's good? Fitz isn't good at all. At least not good enough to carry the team. My comments were directed towards FreakPop who after every game is on a crusade to blame everyone else, except Fitz.
