H2o Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 For who? There is no Luck or RGIII this year. Who do we tank for?
Rob's House Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 For who? There is no Luck or RGIII this year. Who do we tank for? It doesn't matter. Whoever you get in the top 5 is a franchise changer. Imagine if we'd won a couple more games 2 years ago and ended up with JJ Watt instead of Dareus.
dogman Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 Forget the draft. Lose as many games as you have to to get rid of the GM and coach.
bg17 Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 If they can get into the top three they can draft impact players such as Dareus (no issue with him), Aaron Williams, and Sheppard. Does it matter where they draft? This crew?
Bufcomments Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 with Fitz as QB we might not win another game anyway....
VanCity Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 I hate tanking, but damn I hate being a perennial loser so much more. Get me a top QB and we're talking. Get me a new HC with a clue and we're having a day-long conversation. Get me Bill Cowher and you won't shut me up.
BRAWNDO Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 Only if Bill Polian is named Director of Football Operations
Rob's House Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 For those who think we should tank, can anyone name the player we're tanking for?
Dibs Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 For those who think we should tank, can anyone name the player we're tanking for? That's a good point. Even if we lose the rest of the games we likely won't get a top 5 pick anyway.
Astrojanitor Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 Holy cow yes. What a stupid question. Decide whether you're going to trade Spiller or Jackson, start anyone other than Fitz, and release guys you know aren't coming back. Clean house and lose games. Holy cow yes. What a stupid question. Decide whether you're going to trade Spiller or Jackson, start anyone other than Fitz, and release guys you know aren't coming back. Clean house and lose games. If they even think about maybe considering trading Spiller I'm turning my back on this team.

Even if we lose the rest of the games we likely won't get a top 5 pick anyway. then you do what Washington did a put everything on the table and get your QB. That's the only way I will have hope in this organization. They gots to get a QB at all costs because if they go with Fitz as the starter next year they just wont sell those tickets.

A new coaching staff will help......and I tend to think that Spiller could be the sort of electric player that might get bums on seats. That being said....I totally agree & I'd be happy to risk the farm to get a star QB.
Pirate Angel Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 didnt take ong for this post to surface
Dr. Trooth Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 Tank? WTF? Where's everyone been? Bills tanked the season several weeks ago. 2019 could be their year to make the playoffs.
Rob's House Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 I'm still curious who this QB is that we should tank or sell the farm for. I know everyone's scared that we'll get a piece of crap for a QB, but that's worked out pretty well for the Saints.
Nitro Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 No star or elite QB in this draft class. Tanking would do them no good.
AKA Bigdog Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 They will go 7-9 and draft around 15th....and take a RB or a DB. They just can't ever do anything right. This
