Yeah. The optimism is back. Much realism remains, however.

Look at what we're reduced to. We have to win out to make the playoffs, right?

So it's the Colts this week. Would this be the Colts that were so putrid last year and with a rookie QB this year?

It seems prior to the season it would not have been a debate. WE'd KILL thee guys, right?

For every reason given to win there's one why we'd lose. Show of hands......who's surprised we lose Sunday?

Point? One franchise has hit rock bottom and is clearly on it's way up while the other......well.....you know.

Comparing Luck's numbers to Fitz's. Come on, really? Is THAT supposed to make a Bills fan feel....what?...better?

We're not even close to being in their world. Not. Even. Close.

Optimism....who has it? Bills or Colts?

You're painting a black/white paradigm.

The Colts have their presumed franchise quarterback.

That doesn't mean they are a team on the rise.

I agree that there's a lot of our usual manic, bipolar optimism.

But what do the Colts have to be optimistic about?

One player as far as I can tell.

That's as much fool's gold as anything is.

Granted, there are no guarantees but the kid QB the Colts have is as sure a thing I've seen in some time. He has "it". It's plain to see.

They are on their way. Two good drafts and offseasons and they'll being knocking on the AFC's elite door.

Fool's gold?....I guess, if you don't believe in the kid. I do.

If I'm a Colts fan I'm all kinds of optimistic. They've secured he most difficult position to secure.

I predict the Colts will play in the AFC Championship game in Luck's 3rd season and be a perennial playoff team for the next many years following that.

Yep, that's what that "one" player at that position can do for a franchise.

No. I'm high on Andrew Luck.

I'm just not sure that they will be able to build a team around him.

I don't even know who's running their football department.
