Storm Front Posted November 17, 2012 Posted November 17, 2012 Morrison has not been active much, if at all, this season. Given our poor linebacking play and Morrison's somewhat large contract, I was wondering why the Bills don't activate him for games?
bowery4 Posted November 17, 2012 Posted November 17, 2012 IDK but Dwan Edwards is having a very good (run stuffing and sacks) season I read last week somewhere he is the #1 DT in the NFL DOH! Makes you wonder don't it.
FluffHead Posted November 17, 2012 Posted November 17, 2012 they will tell you it is because he is a backup who doesn't play special teams, while bradham and moats do. I will tell you that his strength is as a run stuffer and we could use him
Storm Front Posted November 17, 2012 Author Posted November 17, 2012 He can't be worse than Moats. We need a linebacker who can stuff the run.
dwight in philly Posted November 17, 2012 Posted November 17, 2012 He can't be worse than Moats. We need a linebacker who can stuff the run. agreed,
Best Player Available Posted November 17, 2012 Posted November 17, 2012 I'd ask T.Jax, since he's in the same boat.
NoSaint Posted November 17, 2012 Posted November 17, 2012 I'd ask T.Jax, since he's in the same boat. Except a #4-5 lb expects to get reps if he suits up. Jax is on the bench either way.
Flutie Flakes Posted November 17, 2012 Posted November 17, 2012 I'd ask T.Jax, since he's in the same boat. How about using T-Jack in a wildcat formation?

Given our poor linebacking play and Morrison's somewhat large contract, I was wondering why the Bills don't activate him for games? T Jack needs company on the inactive list , if they were to activate Morrison if for nothing else to motivate a player by making them sit a week or 2 then these guys wouldn't have any one to talk to while they sit & do nothing !!
Sisyphean Bills Posted November 17, 2012 Posted November 17, 2012 IDK but Dwan Edwards is having a very good (run stuffing and sacks) season I read last week somewhere he is the #1 DT in the NFL DOH! Makes you wonder don't it. So, you are saying he sucks like Edwards?
San Jose Bills Fan Posted November 17, 2012 Posted November 17, 2012 I recently composed a little song about the Kirk Morrison situation. It's written for acoustic guitar and voice (the refrain would be in two or three-part harmony) and it's kind of a folk ballad in the the style of the band "America." I call it "The Lonely Linebacker." Would anyone like to hear it?

3rdand12 Posted November 17, 2012 Posted November 17, 2012 it must suck for him. going from a never missed a play guy to sitting on the outside of a Bills team. I for one liked the guy. He looked slowish but strong and very ball aware in camp
San Jose Bills Fan Posted November 17, 2012 Posted November 17, 2012 Got a music video to go along with it? I will but I'm doing some revisions on it. I realized after I'd composed it that it's almost a note for note copy of America's equine epic, "Wildfire." As such I have to change a few things so I don't run afoul of the intellectual property nazis. It starts, "He came down from Duval County… where he played for just a year… " It's really beautiful.

I'm sure it is a lovely song, but for the record, America did not sing Wildfire, it was by Michael Murphey.
San Jose Bills Fan Posted November 18, 2012 Posted November 18, 2012 I'm sure it is a lovely song, but for the record, America did not sing Wildfire, it was by Michael Murphey. Oh. Maybe I should re-write it to the melody of "Horse with no Name."
mrags Posted November 18, 2012 Posted November 18, 2012 Oh. Maybe I should re-write it to the melody of "Horse with no Name." I love Horse with no name. For those of you that don't know or never heard of it you should go look it up on your mpods or pandingo or facetwitter or whatever you call it. In case no one knew, its a song about a 7 or 9 day acid trip. Love it.

Nuncha Posted November 18, 2012 Posted November 18, 2012 Dumb move by the coaching staff. Moats should be the one inactive every week. As horrid as our LB play has been, why Morrison hasn't been on the field is totally mind boggling.
