mdk Posted November 16, 2012 Posted November 16, 2012 While Donald Jones has made some improvement he hasn't made enough of an impact to suggest he's the answer at #2 WR. His drops in the NE and Miami games in the end zone were tough but catchable balls. IMO he's not ready for prime time and a longer term answer needs to be found to playmaker Stevie Johnson.

clearwater cadet Posted November 16, 2012 Posted November 16, 2012 years from now we'll be saying, i can only feel sorry for the DB that has to cover donald jones.

Adam Posted November 16, 2012 Posted November 16, 2012 We will take a long snapper with our top pick.
Johnny Hammersticks Posted November 16, 2012 Posted November 16, 2012 WR would be pretty far down the list of priorities IMO. With Nelson coming back next year, and Graham developing, I really think we have a very solid group of WR's. 1. QB 2. LB 3. LB 4. LB 5. SS 6. CB
dollars 2 donuts Posted November 16, 2012 Posted November 16, 2012 Bills need a _____________________• Just fill in the blank and you will not be wrong. punt returner ...nope, I was wrong.

Dark Fan Posted November 16, 2012 Posted November 16, 2012 Correction, the Bills have a #2 receiver- his name Stevie Johnson. What they need is a #1 receiver. Also, the announcers called him a 5th round pick during the game last night when of course he was 7th.
HalftimeAdjustment Posted November 16, 2012 Posted November 16, 2012 punt returner ...nope, I was wrong. Actually, our punt returner is a free agent after this year, no?
3rdand12 Posted November 16, 2012 Posted November 16, 2012 Donald Jones has improved quite a bit this year. Made some tough catches and blocks very well. But we will draft a WR. Nelson was playing well. And Tj needs the 3 year rule. Stevie is plenty of WR. imho.
Captain Hindsight Posted November 16, 2012 Posted November 16, 2012 I thnk DJ has shown hes capable this year. We can always improve, but Jones is doing just fine imo
reddogblitz Posted November 16, 2012 Posted November 16, 2012 (edited) Donald Jones is good at catching balls that are well thrown that he doesn't have to reach or jump or dive for. He can catch it also if he's not tightly covered. He can't however go up in a crowd and bring it in or make a tough catch. The kind of catch I see other teams WRs make all the time. You need a guy like that. If DJ pulls in that one in the 1st half it doesn't even come down to all the late game theatrics. If he catches that one in NE it could have been different. He had done better this year than I expected, but we need a better player who can make the tough catches there IMHO. Edited November 16, 2012 by reddogblitz

Best Player Available Posted November 16, 2012 Posted November 16, 2012 playoff appearance before 2025 Dude, shouldn't the goals be attainable? Your talking crazy stuff here.
BillsWatch Posted November 16, 2012 Posted November 16, 2012 We will take a long snapper with our top pick. Since when did you hear you were going to be hired by front office? Only way that occurs.
