Dorkington Posted November 16, 2012 Posted November 16, 2012 I feel dirty, but I hope the Patriots win this weekend, to help our wild card chances. >.>

Simon Posted November 16, 2012 Posted November 16, 2012 Never. I'd rather miss the postseason than root for them
MattM Posted November 16, 2012 Posted November 16, 2012 Never. I'd rather miss the postseason than root for them Think of it as a win-win. Either the Cheats* go down, or the Bills' playoff chances go up.....

dayman Posted November 16, 2012 Posted November 16, 2012 I have been drinking...but I do not understand how that makes sense right now...

Simon Posted November 16, 2012 Posted November 16, 2012 Yes, I also enjoy cutting off my nose to spite my face. I'm so goddamned handsome I don't need a nose. You are fortunate not to have the same problem

BillsWatch Posted November 16, 2012 Posted November 16, 2012 Never. I'd rather miss the postseason than root for them You sound like a Bills fan rather than a closet Pats* fan!
Dorkington Posted November 16, 2012 Author Posted November 16, 2012 I have been drinking...but I do not understand how that makes sense right now... They play teams we are fighting against in the wild card hunt. Specifically, the Colts this upcoming weekend.
boyst Posted November 16, 2012 Posted November 16, 2012 If we get to the playoffs, unless we really get rolling, I do not see much success. !@#$ NE. I will not cheer for them.
Big C Posted November 16, 2012 Posted November 16, 2012 Yeah, we need them to win. If the Colts beat them, we probably have a better chance at chasing down New England for the division than grabbing a wild card. Which is to say, our playoff hopes are even slimmer. I am counting on the Colts losing most of their remaining games: @NE, @Houston, @Detroit, plus us and another against Houston week 17, which may be affected by Houston's standing going into the game. If we get to the playoffs, unless we really get rolling, I do not see much success. !@#$ NE. I will not cheer for them. I don't know about you, but I'd still like to see us in the playoffs. It's been far too long.
boyst Posted November 16, 2012 Posted November 16, 2012 I don't know about you, but I'd still like to see us in the playoffs. It's been far too long. If you're not first you're last. And last would be facing the Texans, at worst after beating what would likely have to be NE as the 4th seed.
NoSaint Posted November 16, 2012 Posted November 16, 2012 If you're not first you're last. And last would be facing the Texans, at worst after beating what would likely have to be NE as the 4th seed. I think the experience would be huge for this crew - and I think we could hang with most teams, even if unlikely to beat them. It'd be nice to get over the hump and get that monkey off the teams back.
Big C Posted November 16, 2012 Posted November 16, 2012 But I think getting into the playoffs will be a HUGE morale boost for the team and the city.
BuffaloBillsForever Posted November 16, 2012 Posted November 16, 2012 I feel dirty, but I hope the Patriots win this weekend, to help our wild card chances. >.> Go Patriots? If it helps our chances with the wild card, sure, why not!
truth on hold Posted November 16, 2012 Posted November 16, 2012 Generally when you reckon you can't catch a team for a playoff spot and other spots are available , its in your interests for that team to win out to: A) beat your competition for the other playoff spot B) enhance your strength of schedule for tie breakers.
Dragonborn10 Posted November 16, 2012 Posted November 16, 2012 What are the odds Wilfork's elbow leans into Luck's knee???
Webster Guy Posted November 16, 2012 Posted November 16, 2012 If we get to the playoffs, unless we really get rolling, I do not see much success. !@#$ NE. I will not cheer for them. Last year the Giants were 9–7, (a win percentage of 56.3%) We can be 9-7. And we have the streaky QB, two stud runners, and great special teams. Don't give up on this season yet dude. One game at a time. Our troops have 10 days rest and we come out swinging.
