jr1 Posted November 16, 2012 Posted November 16, 2012 He's exceeding my expectations. Glad he's healthy
Dorkington Posted November 16, 2012 Posted November 16, 2012 i see no reason to do any such thing, If it turns into a strength keep it a strength Ding ding. 4-5 good/solid DEs is a great thing to have. Especially when you think back to recent years past where we had maybe one or two.
mattsox Posted November 16, 2012 Posted November 16, 2012 (edited) Merriman has talent and it shows at times, hopefully he doesn't suffer any setbacks. Moore really wants it and plays like it, nice pick-up by Nix. Love both these guys. Agreed. A healthy Merriman make the D that much better! Edited November 16, 2012 by mattsox
jonramz Posted November 16, 2012 Posted November 16, 2012 Has anyone noticed how much better the run defense has been with Kelsay out? Moore and Merriman are both superior at setting the edge and playing their gaps. I have trashed Merriman a decent amount, but that play he made on Jake Long on that stretch play was about as perfect as you can do it. Moore is a legit pass rusher... we found something guys, he needs to be resigned
4BillsintheBurgh Posted November 16, 2012 Posted November 16, 2012 Moore attacks his man on the pass rush and delivers a nice punch when he engages. I haven't noticed much good or bad with him in the rush defense game, but I haven't seen as many rb's running free through the lines the last couple weeks either.
