PatsFanNH Posted November 15, 2012 Posted November 15, 2012 (edited) As a fan of a different team I figure I MAY be able give objectives both teams need to do to win: Bills: 1. Must run the ball and stick with the run (No 12 carries total) 2. D must stop Reggie Buch 3. Fitz and the O can not have 3 or more TO Phins: 1. Stop CJ and force Fitz beat you through the air. 2. Have Bush & Co. well enough so Tannehill doesnt have to carry the load 3. Must not have 3 TO in the game. My opinion is both O's have had TO issues and the teams whose O takes care of the ball best will win.. My gutt say: Bills: 24 Phins: 21 Edited November 15, 2012 by PatsFanNH
PatsFanNH Posted November 15, 2012 Author Posted November 15, 2012 Fix the topic title! Thanks MY BAD!
DD4Bills Posted November 15, 2012 Posted November 15, 2012 I'd get more specific than just stopping Bush. The D needs to be able to get off the field after 3rd down! The number of times they give up a first down on 3rd and long (or short or whatever) is pathetic. TOs are always key, and the Bills need stay on the + side of that equation too. The Miami D is stronger than the Pats D, but I for one am looking forward to seeing what CJ will do when he is turned loose tonight. Go Bills! BTW, you may want to fix your topic title...I know you meant Dolphins and not Jets, but until it's fixed you'll keep hearing about it.
Just in Atlanta Posted November 15, 2012 Posted November 15, 2012 Unless miracles happen, our D isn't stopping Reggie Bush. Still think we pull off a win though. Gut feeling.
BringBackFergy Posted November 15, 2012 Posted November 15, 2012 1) Control the line of scrimmage (Offensive and Defense). Solid run blocking, no dumb penalties, decent pass protection...on defense, mix it up a little with stunts, a blitz or two, pressure, get your hands up, wrap the runner. 2) See #1 above
DDD Posted November 15, 2012 Posted November 15, 2012 Key goal: Find a way to stop someone on defense
RyanC883 Posted November 15, 2012 Posted November 15, 2012 If we can stop their running game, and they have two good RB's in Bush and Thomas, then we win. Time for the LB's to have some pride. Wait, we don't have LB's. We have a DB playing LB. :wallbash:
Captain Hindsight Posted November 15, 2012 Posted November 15, 2012 If the can hold them to under 20, we win. If they give up 35, shockingly our offense may struggle to score that much, again
Gugny Posted November 15, 2012 Posted November 15, 2012 The Key: Have our defense give up less points than our offense scores.
Captain Hindsight Posted November 15, 2012 Posted November 15, 2012 The Key: Have our defense give up less points than our offense scores. Too obvious. Theyll be expecting that
Gugny Posted November 15, 2012 Posted November 15, 2012 Whatever we do ... DO NOT run the ball and for God's sake, DO NOT BLITZ!!!!
BringBackFergy Posted November 15, 2012 Posted November 15, 2012 Too obvious. Theyll be expecting that Then mix it up a bit...have our offense score more than our defense gives up. Gotta be creative in coaching.

boyst Posted November 15, 2012 Posted November 15, 2012 Too obvious. Theyll be expecting that Are your powers getting stronger? Is that foresight?
Captain Hindsight Posted November 15, 2012 Posted November 15, 2012 Are your powers getting stronger? Is that foresight? Could be. I have been working out...
apuszczalowski Posted November 15, 2012 Posted November 15, 2012 You obviously don't get it There are no Keys to the game tonight, every team is superior and the Bills stand no chance no matter what they do. They are doomed and will lose miserably!

BringBackFergy Posted November 15, 2012 Posted November 15, 2012 What if we find out tomorrow that wasn't the right call? What if that lowers our chance to continue to suck? You make a good point. Hadn't thought of that. There goes that game plan. "Ahhhhh, we suck again"
T master Posted November 15, 2012 Posted November 15, 2012 The key to this game is pretty simple & a lot like previous games . More players than just Kyle Williams , J . Byrd , N .Barnett & possibly Gilmore have to show up to play DEFENSE to play the game !! They show up & do what they are suppose to now & in previous games we are 6 & 3 instead of the opposite !!! You obviously don't get it There are no Keys to the game tonight, every team is superior and the Bills stand no chance no matter what they do. They are doomed and will lose miserably! Luv your positive twist on things must be a joy to be around !!!!
