Big Hurt Posted November 12, 2012 Posted November 12, 2012 I was reading some articles on the dirty hits by Brandon Spikes. The I read some of the comments from the Pats fans. Most of them are cheering for Spike's dirty hits! Like this one: http://www.boston.com/sports/football/patriots/2012/11/12/bills-ryan-fitzpatrick-calls-patriots-brandon-spikes-punk/4bNHjITqlrVez432kQedPL/story.html I tried to post some reply but was blocked. What a bunch of a-holes! I guess they love their dirty players. Bunch of classless people!
NoSaint Posted November 12, 2012 Posted November 12, 2012 psssh not like we had a thread just days ago calling for late hits
Maury Ballstein Posted November 12, 2012 Posted November 12, 2012 yea i mean it happens if Dareus knocked out Brady we would have the same stuff going on.
Big Hurt Posted November 12, 2012 Author Posted November 12, 2012 So I assume it was a clean hit in your mind.
Maury Ballstein Posted November 12, 2012 Posted November 12, 2012 it was close.....i wish we had an LB that would knock people around
Big Hurt Posted November 12, 2012 Author Posted November 12, 2012 Ok, then lets tell our defensive players to go for the heads when tackling because it is way more effective for winning games.
Best Player Available Posted November 12, 2012 Posted November 12, 2012 WOW, good thing a guy named Conrad Dobler never played for the Bills, because no one would have cheered his dirty play in Buffalo.
Maury Ballstein Posted November 12, 2012 Posted November 12, 2012 Ok, then lets tell our defensive players to go for the heads when tackling because it is way more effective for winning games. sounds good.
BringBackFergy Posted November 12, 2012 Posted November 12, 2012 WOW, good thing a guy named Conrad Dobler never played for the Bills, because no one would have cheered his dirty play in Buffalo. 80's?? Oh yeah...right.
Helpmenow Posted November 12, 2012 Posted November 12, 2012 WOW, good thing a guy named Conrad Dobler never played for the Bills, because no one would have cheered his dirty play in Buffalo. a couple of years at the ebd of his career
Best Player Available Posted November 12, 2012 Posted November 12, 2012 80's?? Oh yeah...right. So does being a douche fan for a sports team get judged by what decade it happened in? Got it.
gmanbfan Posted November 12, 2012 Posted November 12, 2012 I was at the pats game, but had to leave in the fourth quarter to catch a flight... I was listening the the pats radio broadcast and their colour commentator was actually saying that the pats needed to knock one of our rbs out... Couldn't believe someone said that on record and on the radio, two biggest homers I have ever listened to... Might explain fan reaction
BringBackFergy Posted November 13, 2012 Posted November 13, 2012 So does being a douche fan for a sports team get judged by what decade it happened in? Got it. I loved Dobler...couldn't remember if he was a 70's or 80's Bills player...rules were a little more relaxed then...as opposed to all the minutia of today's rulebook Spikes is still a punk.
bills44 Posted November 13, 2012 Posted November 13, 2012 So I assume it was a clean hit in your mind. Which of his cheap shots are you referring to?
CodeMonkey Posted November 13, 2012 Posted November 13, 2012 So I assume it was a clean hit in your mind. It was borderline in my opinion. Most, if not all, of the head contact was when Fitz was on his way down already. But close is always going to be ruled in favor of the QBs safety.
BillsFan-4-Ever Posted November 13, 2012 Posted November 13, 2012 Did someone say BOUNTY GATE in NE? oh please .... someone call it in!!
