CodeMonkey Posted November 12, 2012 Posted November 12, 2012 Is the rule for Thursday games 72 hours as well? If so that would mean the game would have to sell out by 8pm tonight, right?
nucci Posted November 12, 2012 Posted November 12, 2012 Correct but I think on quick turnaround games if it's close to sellout they'll extend the deadline.
ALF Posted November 12, 2012 Posted November 12, 2012 1,233 seats avail http://espn.go.com/nfl/schedule should sell out
CodeMonkey Posted November 12, 2012 Author Posted November 12, 2012 (edited) 1,233 seats avail http://espn.go.com/nfl/schedule should sell out i see it as 2612 on that site, but thanks, I have been looking for a site that shows remaining tickets! Oh, and that seems to be stubhub which doesn't matter. Edited November 12, 2012 by CodeMonkey
BuffaloWest Posted November 12, 2012 Posted November 12, 2012 There is under 2,000 seats left , if it doesnt sell out the Bills should absolutely buy the remaining seats for .34 cents on the dollar, if for no other reason than so local advertisers who bought airtime during local breaks commercials can be seen locally, as well as to show this community some appreciation for buying into this abortion of a product for the past 13 years. This will be the last home game with a chance of being televised for remainder of season as Bills have Jacksonville, St Louis, and NY to sellout-and NOBODY cares about those teams. Question-Why do we get stuck with Tennessee, St Louis, Jacksonville at home? Those are just franchises no one wants to see in any NFL city, but more importantly, why did The Bills have only 3 of their first 9 games at home, when it is still nice out and is perfect NFL Football weather? It is BS! We have Jacksonville in December though....Thanks for helping us sell out our stadium by giving us garbage games against hugely unappealing teams in December-F.U. NFL!

There's a formula to determine the Bills home and away games - it's not a choice. As for the late season home schedule, that's the NFL's doing. If the Bills were in contention (like they were supposed to have been) having late season home games could be seen as a plus. But with another horrific season it's just a bunch of games that won't sell out and the local population will be saved from having to witness.
zow2 Posted November 12, 2012 Posted November 12, 2012 Please Buffalo, sell this thing out and be LOUD. Jacksonville was embarrassing last Thurs night and they were called out for it on numerous national media sports talk shows. Mad Dog Russo just killed them on Friday, saying JAX does not feel or look like an NFL city and it was an awful mistake to place a team there. Other shows were going on and on about their lack of attendance and tarps. Miami yesterday was a joke and they are getting killed too. At least show the nation that Buffalo is a really great NFL city despite 12 years of ineptitde. We know it's a great NFL city but around the country people only remember what they see in the here and now. Also, does anyone know the last time the Bills won at home in prime time? I feel like we are on a serious losing streak in these games...
CodeMonkey Posted November 12, 2012 Author Posted November 12, 2012 Just got a text from the Bills saying the game is a sell out!
DDD Posted November 12, 2012 Posted November 12, 2012 As bad as both teams are, my favorite game of the season is always when the Dolphins come to town. I'll be watching on NFL Network.
Dr. Trooth Posted November 12, 2012 Posted November 12, 2012 Blackout or not, I ain't watchin these flippin losers. So what am I doing Thurs? Knicks - Spurs baby. F the Bills! Tonight though, I'm gonna watch my new favorite NFL team... Go STEELERS !!!
notwoz Posted November 12, 2012 Posted November 12, 2012 I'm guessing the game is a sellout because some local business forked over the money to buy the remaining tickets. If that is the case, it's too bad. Because I think a bunch of empty seats on the first "prime time" game in years would have been a statement abount fans' discontent with the team (not that OBD cares what the fans think).
