jjmac
You are right: 129-86, 5 NFC Championship games, and a SB appearance just isn't good enough for the patrons of One Bills Drive. We need a TRUE elite coach, I mean there are so many choices We had 4 Super Bowl appearances under Marv Levy. Does that mean he's 4 times the coach that Reid is? nucci
His contract will just expire. He is not signed for next year and they will just not re-sign him.
gobillsinytown
Reid is definitely gone IMO. I was able to watch most of their game against the Cowboys and despite all the hype, it wasn't close. Football is offense, defense and special teams.....the Cowboys pretty much thumped them in all phases. The media is saying he won't be out of work for long, but I'm not so sure. The guy has been through a lot over the last few years, and it wouldn't suprise me if he retires for a while. His family situation is a mess, he just lost a son, and I could see him hanging it up. peanuts
They would be stupid to fire him.. He lost his son and will right the ship.. Every team has its ups and downs..
Tim Anderson's Lunch Pail
Why might the Eagles fire such a great coach? He's been there for 13 years. Coaches get stale. We'd be so lucky to find a coach that lasts that long and got stale.
RJ (not THAT RJ)
He's been there for 13 years. Coaches get stale. We'd be so lucky to find a coach that lasts that long and got stale. Lindy Ruff, paging Lindy Ruff!
