Miyagi-Do Karate Posted November 12, 2012 Posted November 12, 2012 Anyone else think so? I think so, but that ain't saying much now. Was gonna start a thread on this, but our secondary is the weak link on the entire team. Gilmore is a world class bust already, and the safeties have regressed bey belief.
dayman Posted November 12, 2012 Author Posted November 12, 2012 The turd I just laid down a few min ago is better than Williams what's your point? Why does it take Williams getting hurt for us to see the switch. Why can't this team evaluate their own damn talent? Same w/ CJ splitting 50/50 w/ Fred. On and on... McKelvin is better. Period. Get it through your skull Wanny.
BiggieScooby Posted November 12, 2012 Posted November 12, 2012 McKelvin almost made a few plays today that could have swung the game in our favor. Between stone hands McKelvin & Scott we could have had a multi-pick game.
Slack_in_MA Posted November 12, 2012 Posted November 12, 2012 Has it really come to comparing two below average CBs? Doomed.

It's only a matter of time before he gets exposed. I really like him as a star KR and situational DB, not as a #1 or #2 corner.

I don't want to see him out there again. McKelvin is a SOLID CB when compared to Williams.
sodbuster Posted November 12, 2012 Posted November 12, 2012 FWIW he seems like a more energetic player than 2 years ago. Today I saw him lay the wood to an O lineman twice his size. Flat on his arse.
Mr. WEO Posted November 12, 2012 Posted November 12, 2012 McK was never a "solid" CB. That certainly didn't change today.

Santana Posted November 12, 2012 Posted November 12, 2012 Yeah definitely, he's a lot better than Williams
HumbleAndHungry Posted November 12, 2012 Posted November 12, 2012 I agree, I am surprised we haven't seen more of ron brooks. Maybe he isn't quite up to full speed coming off IR
Maury Ballstein Posted November 12, 2012 Posted November 12, 2012 Mckelvin was good today. Justin Rogers should be cut though w Aaron Williams

Gilmore is a world class bust already, and the safeties have regressed bey belief. I mentioned Gilmore being a potential bust a while ago and every one was calling me an idiot! Gilmore will be an average corner and a starter but a bust for an early round 1 pick!
Mr. WEO Posted November 12, 2012 Posted November 12, 2012 (edited) I mentioned Gilmore being a potential bust a while ago and every one was calling me an idiot! Gilmore will be an average corner and a starter but a bust for an early round 1 pick! Gilmore may be our Ike Taylor--average player who gets beat fairly often and/or has a lot of PI calls. Dragonborn10 Posted November 12, 2012 Posted November 12, 2012 Why is Rogers playing instead of Brooks??? Rogers is awful. McKelvin should have slid inside and played man on Welker. Wanny is so clueless. How many times is he going to leave Barnett in coverage.
