ThrowingFitz Posted November 11, 2012 Posted November 11, 2012 (edited) I think we all realize we need a qb, but as I said in another thtread. Simply drafting a qb does not equal= franchise qb. Too many teams make this mistake. The best route to go is to keep Fitz and let the rooke learn on the bench and mature into a starting role. Otherwise we're more than likely to get stuck with another JP Losman or Blaine Gabbert type Agreed. Ill be rooting for him to succeed the rest of this year and next. The guy took over this team when they were at their worst. You Fitz haters were cheering for him when Trent was stinking up the field. This defense is not hit fault. Draft MLB first, QB in the 2nd and let Fitz help him develop. Edited November 11, 2012 by ThrowingFitz

Newton, RG3,Luck, Dalton, Tannehill, all started right out of college. Yea there is always that risk it does not work, but it needs to be done here. Coach, and QB need to be the 1st things changed.
Dragonborn10 Posted November 12, 2012 Author Posted November 12, 2012 How does a first round QB help the worst defense in the league? Fitz and the offense are good enough to win in this league. The offense is not routinely going three and out. The defense has plenty of time to rest and injuries are not a problem. The problem is lack of talent at LB and an old washed up coordinator.

Yeah they go three and out just enough to stay in it, fight back, then blow it in the end. Is Fitz the biggest problem with this team/franchise? Don't think so. But if you don't think he is absolutely limited by his lack of a deep ball and his tendency to turn it over in crucial moments, I'm sorry but you're completely out to lunch.

It is easier to find adequate/good LB's in this league in FA. Franchise QB's come from the draft. Once a team gets one they very rarely let it go. Im all in for Franchise QB in RD 1.

Newtons struggling this year, RG3 is a wait and see. Luck was the top overall pick. I've yet to see what's so impressive about tannehill. Odds are some of these players will struggle moving forward. I still believe the best route is to have a mentor to a younger qb. Brady had bledsoe. Rodgers had Favre. Eli had Kurt Warner. The Bills have rolled the dice throwing Losman and Edwards to the wolves. Who knows how losman would've turned out had Bledsoe stuck around another year and Losman was able to see the game instead of forced to be the guy, I'd rather not see the Bills make that mistake again
Buffal0 Bill5 Posted November 12, 2012 Posted November 12, 2012 I actually felt bad for Fitz today. He gave it all he had today, but unfotunately all he has doesn't get it done.
PromoTheRobot Posted November 12, 2012 Posted November 12, 2012 Fitz is not good enough to be the long term QB but he's much tougher and is more of a leader than folks give him credit for. PTR

Maybe the Defense Stays off the Field
Bufcomments Posted November 12, 2012 Posted November 12, 2012 Fitz played well today. 31 points on the road is doing your job . They really should have put 40 up. But what was he thinking going to the rookie at the end of the game when CJ was open??. Fitz has his moments. If we didnt have the worst Defense ever we might have won.
Hater Posted November 12, 2012 Posted November 12, 2012 I Don't Care if Shitzpatrick has Balls as Big as Basketballs HE CAN'T FINISH
Stealth Posted November 12, 2012 Posted November 12, 2012 Ahh.... Maybe the Defense Stays off the Field The Bills are 22nd in time of posession 16th in 3rd down percentage. Maybe if the defense got off the field on 3rd downs didn't have the 31st ranked run defense and caused some turnovers they could get themselves off the field?

By Numbers The Saint have the Worst Defense Now that could have changed but I haven't checked yet
BiggieScooby Posted November 12, 2012 Posted November 12, 2012 Fitz could have won it against Tennessee & New England. The great QBs win these types of games. Fitz continually loses these games it's that simple.
Mr. WEO Posted November 12, 2012 Posted November 12, 2012 Why was he left alone to fight back against the defender who blew his helmet off? Where was the oline? It's their job to get in that asshats face at that point. Op is right. He has more kahunas than 90 percent of his teammates. And he had a very good game today. Unfortunately, he's not good enough week in and week out to take this team anywhere. But of course, neither is gailey. This is a great point. Fitz is the only tough guy on this team. Where was the O-line? Getting their dicks handed to them, that's where. Hard to believe some guys were calling this collection of Nancies "the Wolfpack" at the beginning of the season. Isn't Wood supposed to be some kind of tough guy? And was Glenn injured escorting pass rushers to Fitz's chin? No heart around Fitz. None.

Fitz continually loses these games it's that simple. Only 2 teams allow over 30pts a game. 30 other qb's don't have to overcome that. "it's that simple"

Yeah those pussies that helped the Bills throw for 320, rush for 160, and gave up a whopping 3 sacks in the Pats house should be torched! C'mon mob lets go!!!!!!......gimme a fuggin break
