Talk to the good ole boys, they are the ones who signed and are paying for a player that has been a healthy scratch in every game since signing with the Bills. Fixxxer
I think they don't want to give up that conditional pick by activating him for more than six games (if I'm not mistaken about that figure) When and if we are out of it, we might see him play, but I wouldn't bet on it. Captain Hindsight
I swear some people just need a reason to complain about something. I guess I just don't get it.
Rob's House
They got him because they expected to be good & wanted more security at the position in case Fitz got hurt. He's not playing b/c Fitz is still the better QB.

Rob's House
if you say so. I do. I think we watch these games with Bills vision. Sure, Fitz has had a couple of bad games, but he's had his share of good ones too. A lot of QBs out there have Fitz-like performances any given Sunday, but we'd take them in a heartbeat b/c the grass is greener. TJ is proof of the old adage about the backup QB being the most popular guy when the team struggles. Fitz's shortcomings does not negate TJ's inherent mediocrity. MN went from a pretty good team to a dominant force when they replaced him. And he was okay in Seattle, but if Fitz had Seattle's defense the last two years and TJ were playing here during that time, I have no doubt the current Fitzbashers would welcome that trade. Jackson could not possibly be any worse. I believe it has to do with the conditional pick as someone else stated. This team needs all the draft picks they can get and they don't want to give up that higher one when it won't make any difference in making the playoffs this year. Beerball
So I want to know where I can sign up to get 2 million dollars to watch football. Tavaris Jackson you got a great job!!!! Yeah, I'm sure he's happy not being activated each week while a craptastic Fitzpatrick continues to miss open receivers. He (Jackson) did what the Bills asked, restructured his contract. I doubt he's happy seeing his name on the inactive list every week.

What I THINK the reason is that starting TJ would effectively signal that the vision for the team that the FO and Chan have been selling has failed, and benching WTFitz would be a white flag move...
