xsoldier54 Posted November 9, 2012 Posted November 9, 2012 They both are terrible HC's. Career records show they both suck. Gailey sucks a little bit more record wise. Unfortunate that these two guys have been our last two head coaches. Time to blow it up and bring in somebody fresh. These old NFL retreads just don't understand how to win in today's NFL.
Ronin Posted November 10, 2012 Posted November 10, 2012 Chan Gailey career NFL head coaching record: 31-43 = 41.9% Dick Jauron's career NFL head coaching record: 60-82 = 42.3% According to this stat, Jauron has a very slight edge on who sucks less. However, my eye test says Gailey is better. Under Jauron, the Bills could almost never move the ball and on defense had a fairly successful "bend but don't break" style. This lead to unwatchable games for a fan as the other team would consistently convert on 3rd down while the Bills never could. I would prefer Gailey. Gailey has notably better talent than Jauron had.
