ShipUPride Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 (edited) Looks like OBD has started looking towards 2013 already. Player development and evaluation starting. Here's to the draft!! Edited November 6, 2012 by ShipUPride
Charles Romes Posted November 7, 2012 Posted November 7, 2012 I think the throwing in the towel was a week early. Hanging with the Texans for 3 quarters makes beating the pats better than impossible. Confusing as well since chan keeps his job with 7 maybe 6 wins.
3rdand12 Posted November 7, 2012 Posted November 7, 2012 decimated again by injury.. Ron Brooks... trial by fire. Searcy gets work, Kyle Moore and Carrington. Lets get Howell some more time too. but i actually hold out strong we have game against NE
Best Player Available Posted November 7, 2012 Posted November 7, 2012 The Potter experiment is over finally. proof positive that Nix/Gailey are clueless. Up next for 2013 is abandoning the wildcat, along with 2 of 3 current Bills Quarterbacks.
jahnyc Posted November 7, 2012 Posted November 7, 2012 After drafting Gilmore, Williams, Brooks and Rogers, we will still need some cornerbacks since McKelvin will likely leave (he will be a free agent) and Mcgee will not be back.
Beerball Posted November 7, 2012 Posted November 7, 2012 decimated again by injury.. Horse hockey! I'm tired of this excuse. I watched the Steeler game on Sunday and they were down to their 3rd or 4th RB. Their O-line is patchwork (thanks in part to the pre-season game against Buff). Their D has had significant players miss time. Yet they find a way to compete. It's all about drafting talent. Instilling a winning attitude and executing the plan. We may have the players. We don't have the attitude or the plan.
BuffaloFan68 Posted November 7, 2012 Posted November 7, 2012 I'm looking forward to seeing Easley get some game time now we just need a QB that can get the ball to our receivers. Every week I keep hoping that T-Jack will be active.
chris heff Posted November 7, 2012 Posted November 7, 2012 Rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic. I've said it before, since there is no plan in place for the inevitable ownership change, there is no accountability. Thus these results.
mattsox Posted November 7, 2012 Posted November 7, 2012 proof positive that Nix/Gailey are clueless. Up next for 2013 is abandoning the wildcat, along with 2 of 3 current Bills Quarterbacks. What? You lost faith in the "Good Ol' Boys?" LOL...
Bleeding Bills Blue Posted November 7, 2012 Posted November 7, 2012 I don't want to give up quite yet, but they have no killer instinct, and Gaileys in denial of where we currently stand. We are not out of it by any means, but when you dont take ANY chances in a game youre likely to lose - Guess what? You Lose!!! If we are out, it starts with leaders. This team needs leaders on both sides of the ball. A QB who can open up the playbook would be great as well. But someone on the defense who has an idea of whats going on out there is just as important. If its replacing Wilson, or Shephard, or Barnett (or all 3), it has to happen for the team to improve. Our young CBs are BEGGING for leadership. Multiple times this season Gilmore, and Williams even Mcgee are second guessing playcalls - man vs. zone - etc. It's not on Mario and Dareus to tell you who and how to cover, but it is on SOMEONE. I think we need that guy as much as we need a Geno Smith, or Barkley.
Captain Hindsight Posted November 7, 2012 Posted November 7, 2012 decimated again by injury.. We are much better equipped to handle it this year though. No excuses IMO
PromoTheRobot Posted November 7, 2012 Posted November 7, 2012 More changes... The Bills have signed CB Crezdon Butler and OT Thomas Welch to the 53-man roster. So who got cut? PTR
FLFan Posted November 7, 2012 Posted November 7, 2012 More changes... The Bills have signed CB Crezdon Butler and OT Thomas Welch to the 53-man roster. So who got cut? PTR The IR'd two players yesterday, a CB and a OL, and cut Potter. They only added Easley, so this fills out the 53. Looks like OBD has started looking towards 2013 already. Player development and evaluation starting. Here's to the draft!! Not sure where you get this conclusion based on two injured palyers being sent to IR, and cutting an ineffective kick off specialist, but carry on.
SRivRoc Posted November 7, 2012 Posted November 7, 2012 More changes... The Bills have signed CB Crezdon Butler and OT Thomas Welch to the 53-man roster. So who got cut? PTR Dynasty!!! GO BILLS!!! SUPER BOWL OR BUST
8-8 Forever? Posted November 7, 2012 Posted November 7, 2012 Horse hockey! I'm tired of this excuse. I watched the Steeler game on Sunday and they were down to their 3rd or 4th RB. Instilling a winning attitude and executing the plan. We may have the players. We don't have the attitude or the plan. Probably so, Ball. You need that big stick in the middle (they have Ben R.) and a DC/defensive players that keep him in games. Nix will go QB this draft no doubt now that the O Line and running game is built. FA for another wideout. Draft another corner. I think their plan is a good one. Don't get a rookie QB killed like what is happening in DC and Carolina this year. A rookie QB could do well next year the way Gailey plays offense quick and fast behind a good line. Glenn, Levitre (gotta sign him), Wood, Urbik and Hairston should be good to go. TE done, RBs done. WR who knows yet. On D, need a leader and a DC. Not sure on the DC as Wanny is Chan's buddy but there is more to the scheme than Wanny has shown. We need to get a lead in a freakin game so we can go get the QB. Saw it a little in AZ. game... its not all rush 4 and that's it. Wanny is protecting the back end ...

johnnywo Posted November 7, 2012 Posted November 7, 2012 More changes... The Bills have signed CB Crezdon Butler and OT Thomas Welch to the 53-man roster. So who got cut? PTR Who? Why not give Stanford Routt a shot? Crezdon Butler from the AZ practice squad?
