BillsCelticsAngelsBama Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 171 days to go baby. We will have a leader. And a guy that will want to win just as much as we do..... finally
DrDawkinstein Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 You think a 3rd round pick will be starting right away?
mob16151 Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 Meh Wilsons having a crappy year, but in all fairness that program is a mess.
jcbillsfan Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 Could be. Question is trAde back into the first or sit tight with our second round pick
mob16151 Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 Could be. Question is trAde back into the first or sit tight with our second round pick I have Wilson as a second rounder right now. His draft stocks fallen, but he's not having a Javon Snead like season yet.
mob16151 Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 Walter has us taking him at 6. Pre combine thats a huge reach I still have him behind Smith,Barkley,Glennon,Murray,Manuel, and Bray.
inkman Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 171 days to go baby. We will have a leader. And a guy that will want to win just as much as we do..... finally ...because all the players currently on the roster don't want to win?
djsabres Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 I would love Wilson. he has had a rough year but that is due to absolutely no coaching and a sub par O-line. I look at the Saints as an example of how coaching matters to even a great QB
xsoldier54 Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 I like Wilson and I think he will be a very good NFL QB.
drinkTHEkoolaid Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 If you think Wilson is the guy, you take him with the first pick. Don't give a chance to let someone else take him. If you think you can get a franchise QB you take him. Period.
CBD Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/prospectrankings/2013 CBS has him 23rd overall
Mark80 Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 (edited) Pre combine thats a huge reach I still have him behind Smith,Barkley,Glennon,Murray,Manuel, and Bray. Haven't seen Manuel play yet, but I'd say behind Smith, Barkley, Murray, and Jones. I still like what Jones has to offer and he's looked pretty good this season, way better than last year to me. Not sold on Bray or Glennon though, not one bit. Edited November 6, 2012 by Mark80
Mr. WEO Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 In his best season (out of 5!) he had 24 passing TDs. And this year a bunch of excuses for disappointing senior year play. Hmmmmm....where have I read this before (JPL). "pass"
Buffalo Barbarian Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 Haven't seen Manuel play yet, but I'd say behind Smith, Barkley, Murray, and Jones. I still like what Jones has to offer and he's looked pretty good this season, way better than last year to me. Not sold on Bray or Glennon though, not one bit. Jones is the best this year, Bray won't come out but has the most Talent but needs a lot of work.
peterpan Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 Is anyone else worried about the system he plays in? Brohm had a lot of success in that system and it didnt translate to the NFL. Same thing with Landry Jones (Bradford)
BuffaloFan68 Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 We need to get a top prospect for a change- either Barkley, Smith or Jones.
C.Biscuit97 Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 Jones is the best this year, Bray won't come out but has the most Talent but needs a lot of work. Ugh to Jones and ugh to Wilson. System QBs who have nothing elite. Both will be back up QBs at best. The only 2 legit franchise guys are Geno Smith and Matt Barkley, and I worry about the USC thing with Barkley. Personally, I'd draft 2 QBs and hope one of them hits. Collin Klein will be an interesting 2nd or later pick.
