I'm not going to pass judgement on him until the end of the season, but let's hope he and the team step up today and destroy Houston.
NoSaint
We will see - like I've said, there's been a lot of smoke - but he has a long and very positive track record. I've tried to stay optimistic despite frustration. Playing one armed would hurt a power guy way more than a speed guy too.
The Poojer
actually he should....he didn't tell anyone about an injury that serious??? if it was only a 1 week recovery, he could have done this early on and been healthier now and not try and get healthy against arguably the toughest stretch of our schedule.... NoSaint
actually he should....he didn't tell anyone about an injury that serious??? if it was only a 1 week recovery, he could have done this early on and been healthier now and not try and get healthy against arguably the toughest stretch of our schedule.... The report essentially said to me that he didn't tell fans (look how we reacted to any mention he was hurt) not that he hid it from everyone. Also that he would've (and maybe should) be missing more time than this. Piecing the puzzle together, they must've thought minor year that would heal soon, it was more major- this surgery may not have fixed it even, as much as put a better bandaid on the problem (reduce swelling and such to help) Edited November 4, 2012 by NoSaint

tennesseeboy
Let's see...maybe the trainer who let him play? The coach who didn't know what to do if a player was injured? That's assuming he actually had or has a torn ligament. Funny how losers always find injuries to blame for poor performance.

muffmonster
Moving his fridge. Hahaha, fridge jokes don't get old. Well played, i had to explain the "fridge" to my wife so she stopped looking at me weird.
ChasBB
I guess I'm still unclear how a wrist injury causes one to go half-speed on his feet, but oh well.
bmur66
I had ligament damage in my forearm. It took a year and a half to completely heal on its own. Had little strength because it hurt.
Concrete Buffalo Feet
I'm dealing with a torn ligament in my elbow. Also had a fractured bone with the same injury that's since been healed. The ligament tear has been a nightmare to live and work with. Can only imagine how it would affect a player hand swatting and fighting to get to the QB. I've been told 6 months recovery for the elbow so props to Mario on playing through it and to hoping the surgery turns his season around!!!! Go BILLS!!!! cale
Just be aware that he has his own publicist. Wouldn't surprise me if all of this is just damage control to justify his lack of production the first half of the season. Just sayin'...
