PromoTheRobot Posted November 1, 2012 Posted November 1, 2012 London, England. So now the Bills have another vulture waiting in the fence.. PTR
PaattMaann Posted November 1, 2012 Posted November 1, 2012 well they would be far enough away that we would never have to worry about local blackouts when they dont sell out
PromoTheRobot Posted November 1, 2012 Author Posted November 1, 2012 Why don't the Bills just sell all of their DEC home games. It's not like anyone in Buffalo wants to go. PTR
RyanC883 Posted November 1, 2012 Posted November 1, 2012 London won't get one. Too far away. Toronto, LA and Mexico City seem more likely. Or perhaps the Bills can sell their Dec games to London, then we won't have blackout issues!
RkFast Posted November 1, 2012 Posted November 1, 2012 If Goodell goes to Mexico or London, he should be fired immediatety.
AxelRipper Posted November 1, 2012 Posted November 1, 2012 That would be a real nice home field advantage when they play teams from the west coast.... Also, its the National Football League, not International.
bowery4 Posted November 1, 2012 Posted November 1, 2012 They should go international but having a team there full time makes no sense. They need at least 2 teams in Europe to even think about it.
Thunderstealer Posted November 1, 2012 Posted November 1, 2012 London, England. So now the Bills have another vulture waiting in the fence.. PTR If you see any photos of Ralph and Queen Elizabeth II, we're screwed.
RyanC883 Posted November 1, 2012 Posted November 1, 2012 If Goodell goes to Mexico or London, he should be fired immediatety. Agreed.
DJasper Probincrux III Posted November 1, 2012 Posted November 1, 2012 If Goodell goes to Mexico or London, he should be fired immediatety. I dont know about that but Congress should definitely revoke their anti-trust exemption.
Mr. WEO Posted November 1, 2012 Posted November 1, 2012 London, England. So now the Bills have another vulture waiting in the fence.. PTR Why don't the Bills just sell all of their DEC home games. It's not like anyone in Buffalo wants to go. PTR You have to stop. Leave the Bills fans alone. They weren't put on this Earth to fill the stands week after week season after season no matter how bad the team is playing. Bills fans are the most loyal in the League and yet you never fail to take a shot at them with these inane "the Bills are moving to LA (now London--ENGLAND!!)" because the fans won't sell out "Ralph Wilson Stadium" posts. I dont know about that but Congress should definitely revoke their anti-trust exemption. First, if Goodell is looking at London, he is doing so at the bidding of his bosses, so they certainly won't be firing him for this. Second, congress will never take away the antitrust exemption and if you knew what that meant you would never want them to.
DJasper Probincrux III Posted November 1, 2012 Posted November 1, 2012 congress will never take away the antitrust exemption and if you knew what that meant you would never want them to. Why not? Use small words
PaattMaann Posted November 1, 2012 Posted November 1, 2012 I think hes trying to say monopolies are a bad thing....
DJasper Probincrux III Posted November 1, 2012 Posted November 1, 2012 I think hes trying to say monopolies are a bad thing.... BS I love Monopoly. But only if I get to be the car, F that thimble thing. Who uses a thimble anymore anyway?
Mr. WEO Posted November 1, 2012 Posted November 1, 2012 Why not? Use small words well, there would be no more shared revenue, no league-wide TV contract. Each team would be free to negotiate their own deal with networks or simply start their own network, like the Yankees, Mets, Cubs, etc. What do you think the value for the broadcast right for the Bills would be worth? I bet it's less than 140 million a year. In fact, but for handfull of teams, the vast majority of any NFL team's worth is tied to the current shared revenue and TV contract value.
Quester74 Posted November 1, 2012 Posted November 1, 2012 BS I love Monopoly. But only if I get to be the car, F that thimble thing. Who uses a thimble anymore anyway? I dunno.. I always liked being the cannon.. it was easy to pick up.
RevWarRifleman Posted November 1, 2012 Posted November 1, 2012 If you see any photos of Ralph and Queen Elizabeth II, we're screwed. Queen E II? He's talking to Queen Victoria, their friendship goes back a long way!!!!
PaattMaann Posted November 1, 2012 Posted November 1, 2012 I use my own monopoly piece.....items previously used: condom (wrapped), free drink chip from local bar, a button from my shirt (popped off during game so it was a mid game switch), my wedding ring and a shot glass.....
RevWarRifleman Posted November 1, 2012 Posted November 1, 2012 As per Adam Schefter's tweet: "Bills considering moving to Milan, Italy: due to their poor level of play, they'l be named the "Milan Chaineys"
Turbosrrgood Posted November 1, 2012 Posted November 1, 2012 London, England. So now the Bills have another vulture waiting in the fence.. PTR Logistically that seems a bit crazy. I can't imagine England, known for rabid soccer fans, caring about "American" football enough. And what about travel? That's a ridiculous flight for those west coast games and vice versa. Seems like it would be a little unfair.
