RyanC883 Posted October 29, 2012 Posted October 29, 2012 waterboy. must get exhausted when the defense is on the field for so long getting run over!
ganesh Posted October 29, 2012 Posted October 29, 2012 Our last representative was Kyle Williams two years ago (2010), and he only got it cause someone who was still playing bowed out. Other than that I can't remember any Bills in the Pro Bowl for sometime. Â *Just looked it up, Schobel was 2006, 2007 and Moorman was 2005, 2006. Â Didn't Byrd also make it the same year (or was it 2009?)
Hazed and Amuzed Posted October 29, 2012 Posted October 29, 2012 Didn't Byrd also make it the same year (or was it 2009?) It would've had to be 2009, his rookie year
FleaMoulds80 Posted October 29, 2012 Posted October 29, 2012 Kyle Williams and Jairus Byrd. That's it.
T master Posted October 29, 2012 Posted October 29, 2012 (edited) As I understand it, every team in the NFL has to have at least one player on the Pro Bowl team. With Moorman gone, I cannot think of one player who would make it. Any suggestions? Â Spiller or Jackson or both Levetrie or Byrd possibly & maybe K WIlliams but beyond that you got nothin !!!! Quester74 Posted October 29, 2012 Posted October 29, 2012 Also an indictment of what is wrong with the "everyone is a winner" non competitive uber politically correct country the USA has become in recent years. If a team sucks to the point of not having even one player worthy, why force one to be put on the pro bowl team. I would think said player would find it embarrassing as well. Â Dunno if it's so much that, as much as the NFL wanting to squeeze every penny it can from every TV market. Cuz, you know, if one Buffalo Bill makes the roster than that means 6 more people will be watching the Pro Bowl. Â I'll bet that guy from the "suck team" would get over his embarrassment after checking the Pro Bowl bonus in his contract, too. (Assuming he isn't making $50 Kajillion, already.)
C.Biscuit97 Posted October 29, 2012 Posted October 29, 2012 If Fitz could get the ball to him, SJ would easily be a pro bowl receiver. He's always open. And Gailey is the one who holds Spiller back. That said, Kyle Williams, Levitre, Wood, and Bryd have pro bowl potential.
BillsVet Posted October 29, 2012 Posted October 29, 2012 Would you accept Chan and his staff coaching the Senior Bowl again?
metzelaars_lives Posted October 29, 2012 Posted October 29, 2012 You're thinking of baseball. There have been several seasons recently that the Bills have had no players in the Pro Bowl.
muffmonster Posted October 29, 2012 Posted October 29, 2012 Didn't Byrd also make it the same year (or was it 2009?) Â Yes sorry I actually missed quite a few. Â Byrd 2009 Peters and Lynch 2008

truth on hold Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 (edited) Byrd, he'll rack up the INT stats that gets one noticed  No chance Kyle (or anyone else) from the front 7 makes it, with all the rush yards they give up  Spiller & Jackson are problematic because sharing carries hurts their stats  But if we end up at or near lead in rush yards that may get an Olineman like Wood or Levitre in Edited October 30, 2012 by Joe_the_6_pack

Damn man you are right. I did not follow my own advice of "follow the money" when it comes to the motive of the NFL!

If a tree falls in the woods does anybody hear it?? Â It's like a mystery wrapped in a riddle. If the NFL has to pick a pro-bowler from the bills who would it be??
abbottroadwarrior Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 You're thinking of baseball. There have been several seasons recently that the Bills have had no players in the Pro Bowl. Â Haha I know a few of us have mentioned this in the thread but no one seems to notice...

With Moorman gone, I cannot think of one player who would make it. Any suggestions? Can't believe I am going to say this since he has been more of a F-Up since he got drafted, but this year so far-McKelvin on special teams. Didn't Byrd also make it the same year (or was it 2009?) Did Byrd actually go or was he hurt? Thinking he didn't play but was actually voted in.
FanofFredJackson Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 Bill's players who are of Pro-Bowl caliber IMO are as follows 1) Fred Jackson 2) C.J Spiller Other possibles as substitutes would be 1) Nick Barnett 2) Scott Chandler 3) Stevie Johnson 4) Kyle Williams Finally as a long shot Leodis McKelvin as a kick-off returner
Sisyphean Bills Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 Seriously though, why would anybody off this suckfest defense get a mention for a Pro Bowl?!?
benderbender Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 The Injury trainer. he's had to work overtime this year taping up puh-c's all season. And record injuries the past two years
