Awwufelloff Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 I am sick of us being the laughing stock of the league. I want us to finish 8-8 and not really care if we make playoffs or not. We can still draft Qb in first round and LB in second. Pick up a FA WR 2 and we will have a solid team next year "if" the first round qb can pan out. As we have seen Luck, RG3, Wilson, Tannehill, even Weeden are having really good rookie years.
THE GUY YELLING BEHIND YOU Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 Big chance that Tyler Wilson will be there...Smith and Barkley are gone. I don't think I would want Barkley any way...plays small.
Endless Ike Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 Cleveland Jacksonville Kansas City Will all definitely draft a QB if a "franchise" type guy is there. Gabbert is clearly not good enough, and Weedon is going to be 30.
KOKBILLS Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 Cleveland Jacksonville Kansas City Will all definitely draft a QB if a "franchise" type guy is there. Gabbert is clearly not good enough, and Weedon is going to be 30. If Geno Smith separates himself as the clear #1 choice at QB, I agree Cleveland and J-Ville may very well be in play...But outside of that possibility, I don't see any of the remaining 2013 QB crop being good enough to move those two Franchises off their current plan...I just don't see a guy like Barkley being that much better of an option over Gabbart, or Weedon... We'll see though...The Rookie wage scale makes it an easier gamble I guess...
