drinkTHEkoolaid Posted October 23, 2012 Posted October 23, 2012 Obama wouldn't say an attack on Israel is an attack on the U.S. but kept saying "we'll stand with Israel in that event". Why is he pussyfooting around? Because he couldn't respond by answering "present"
B-Man Posted October 23, 2012 Posted October 23, 2012 So how do you think this is going for Obama, really? You think that line, which was an absurd response to Romney's point, gets him somewhere, with the voters who aren't watching football? Only if they are looking for a sarcastic, mocking leader, who doesn't appear presidential............then he's their man. .
BillsFanM.D. Posted October 23, 2012 Posted October 23, 2012 You think that line, which was an absurd response to Romney's point, gets him somewhere, with the voters who aren't watching football? Great point. It's not as if the average voter is tuned into the second half of the third presidential debate.
TakeYouToTasker Posted October 23, 2012 Posted October 23, 2012 Obama wouldn't say an attack on Israel is an attack on the U.S. but kept saying "we'll stand with Israel in that event". Why is he pussyfooting around? He's pandering to the portion of his base that aren't zionist, and antagonising that those that are.
OCinBuffalo Posted October 23, 2012 Posted October 23, 2012 hehe...Obama better hope those reports aren't true. Schieffer just put him on the spot on that. Now, if anything at all comes out...or...a certain CIA officer or manager is pissed because Obama tried to hang Libya on them...look out.
B-Man Posted October 23, 2012 Posted October 23, 2012 Might be worth noting Obama's red line is an actual Iranian nuke. Romney's is Iranian nuclear capability. Big difference. .
BillsFanM.D. Posted October 23, 2012 Posted October 23, 2012 Because he couldn't respond by answering "present" Lol!!
dayman Posted October 23, 2012 Posted October 23, 2012 hmmm obama apology tour = iran nuclear iran GOP math
BillsFanM.D. Posted October 23, 2012 Posted October 23, 2012 Romney hammering him on his unifying policies w talking with dictators.
OCinBuffalo Posted October 23, 2012 Posted October 23, 2012 Doing quite well. Basically just sticking with who he has always been, Romney struggling to say anything really he knows he can't go back to his maniac GOP-pander re: "strength! strength!" Romney has landed some real punches on Obama. If you can't see that, then you are affected. At the same time, Obama has done a good job of explaining what he has done, and why. The problem for Obama lies in the difference between what he has done, and what needed to be done. Romney, as he is doing right now with the Iran Green party thing, is scoring all his points in that difference. And, now...Obama goes for the personal attack? Nothing indicates losing more than that. Good luck!
3rdnlng Posted October 23, 2012 Posted October 23, 2012 hmmm obama apology tour = iran nuclear iran GOP math Well, when it's found out that the emperor has no clothes, exposing the fact that he has no balls things go ballistic, nuclear-wise.
dayman Posted October 23, 2012 Posted October 23, 2012 The apology tour is the most insane thing to have come out of the GOP in the last 4 years. I like how you guys love it.
OCinBuffalo Posted October 23, 2012 Posted October 23, 2012 Hehe....you want to talk about lines? Really? That "we don't dictate we free from dictators" line is THE soundbite from this debate. Obama....responds with nothing sandwich.
TakeYouToTasker Posted October 23, 2012 Posted October 23, 2012 BOOM! We.don't dictate to other nations, we free other nations from dictators.
3rdnlng Posted October 23, 2012 Posted October 23, 2012 The apology tour is the most insane thing to have come out of the GOP in the last 4 years. I like how you guys love it. You don't remember it? Who are you, NewBills or NewBorn?
NoSaint Posted October 23, 2012 Posted October 23, 2012 (edited) This won't be a knockout but mitts scoring consistently. A lot of good body shots, with the occasional big hook. Obama isn't on the ropes but he's definitely not landing big blows either Actually enjoying this one, as its not near as sloppy. Edited October 23, 2012 by NoSaint
dayman Posted October 23, 2012 Posted October 23, 2012 Why don't they go ahead and talk a bit about pakistan
OCinBuffalo Posted October 23, 2012 Posted October 23, 2012 Dude...even Scheiffer can't save Obama. He only put in a half-hearted attempt, but he knows good TV when he sees it. His TV newsman personality won't allow him to shut Romney down. Obama is rambling...reeling still from Romney's line.
