TakeYouToTasker Posted October 23, 2012 Posted October 23, 2012 The Road to Greece... I love that line.
B-Man Posted October 23, 2012 Posted October 23, 2012 Thank goodness, President Obama managed to work in tax hikes into the foreign policy debate......phew...
dayman Posted October 23, 2012 Posted October 23, 2012 lol both candidates have deployed the art of a few sentences to the question of foreign policy and then pivot to stump speech battle
boyst Posted October 23, 2012 Posted October 23, 2012 Obama seems misdirected. Romney seems almost too relaxed. Even their speaking is dulling. I am listening. Not watching.
B-Man Posted October 23, 2012 Posted October 23, 2012 (edited) lol both candidates have deployed the art of a few sentences to the question of foreign policy and then pivot to stump speech battle true...its pretty obvious Only thing this "foreign policy debate" is now missing is a reference to Lilly Ledbetter. . From Jonah Goldberg again; Mullahs in Iran totally brain-fried trying to parse discussion of school class sizes in foreign policy debate. . Edited October 23, 2012 by B-Man
/dev/null Posted October 23, 2012 Posted October 23, 2012 So teachers and small businesses are a foreign policy issue?
drinkTHEkoolaid Posted October 23, 2012 Posted October 23, 2012 Listening to the radio right now.....sounds like Romney is hammering Obama. Obama sounds like a whiny kid trying to interrupt
dayman Posted October 23, 2012 Posted October 23, 2012 Romney on paying for military "we take program after program that we don't absolutely have to have"...to pay for more military we don't have to have
OCinBuffalo Posted October 23, 2012 Posted October 23, 2012 Can't believe that Obama has taken this long to talk about "race to the top", on a night that supposed to be about foreign policy, and that is probably going to be the worst rated of the debates. That would have been a good point in the first debate. Now? It's stupid, and, now, Romney is countering with his record...and it is HIS. Scheiffer has lost control. And, I don't see how that's bad. Obama wanted to "broaden the debate" and now Romney is punishing him for it.
BillsFanM.D. Posted October 23, 2012 Posted October 23, 2012 Obama looking snippy at Mitt as he described success of Mass education.
drinkTHEkoolaid Posted October 23, 2012 Posted October 23, 2012 Obama looking snippy at Mitt as he described success of Mass education. It came off that way on the radio too
TakeYouToTasker Posted October 23, 2012 Posted October 23, 2012 Romney's plan is dependent on 3% annual growth. I wish he would call down the President for claiming that 3% growth isn't feasible.
OCinBuffalo Posted October 23, 2012 Posted October 23, 2012 (edited) The Obama budget...that has gotten 0 votes in both the house and senate all 3 times it was sent? That budget? Yeah, it's not driven by anybody Barry. But Valerie Jarrett. Let's talk about her, and why she rates a Secret Service detail. EDIT: Back to the budget again? Back to the Navy? Ridiculous. Navy bean counting? That's your answer? Edited October 23, 2012 by OCinBuffalo
dayman Posted October 23, 2012 Posted October 23, 2012 lmfao loving the last line by Obama re: horses
boyst Posted October 23, 2012 Posted October 23, 2012 I am getting sick of Obama's comments asking for permission, basically, to make a comment. I really am glad we have these ships that go under water, and not those bayonets!
OCinBuffalo Posted October 23, 2012 Posted October 23, 2012 lmfao loving the last line by Obama re: horses So how do you think this is going for Obama, really? You think that line, which was an absurd response to Romney's point, gets him somewhere, with the voters who aren't watching football?
3rdnlng Posted October 23, 2012 Posted October 23, 2012 Obama wouldn't say an attack on Israel is an attack on the U.S. but kept saying "we'll stand with Israel in that event". Why is he pussyfooting around?
dayman Posted October 23, 2012 Posted October 23, 2012 So how do you think this is going for Obama, really? You think that line, which was an absurd response to Romney's point, gets him somewhere, with the voters who aren't watching football? Doing quite well. Basically just sticking with who he has always been, Romney struggling to say anything really he knows he can't go back to his maniac GOP-pander re: "strength! strength!"
