Will never forget being at a game against the Pats* I think the year before the scandal broke, and thinking that it was uncanny that on offense they seemed to know exactly what to do time after time against whatever was thrown at them. I specifically remember two blitzes where Brady just heaved the ball to the middle of the field for long gains - and it appeared he wasn't even looking where he was throwing as he was avoiding the pressure. There is absolutely no doubt in my mind today they knew exactly what the defense was going to do before the snap.

I would not be surprised at all if they was much more to the cheating (radio signals) than was reported, and that some of it continues today. Also wonder if Brady ever has ( or will have ) regret over winning the way he has - at some point that has to eat at a man.

It only bothers Billygoat fans because they never won a superbowl! They just aren't good enough, cheating or no cheating. ROFL :bag:

Tainted SB wins are worth as much as Barry Bonds' HR record.

That may be son, but any record is better than NO RECORD AT ALL! Being a Bills fan you can relate to NO records and NO superbowl wins, EH DOC? BWAHAAHAHAHAHAHA :D:lol:

Tainted SB wins are worth as much as Lance Armstrong's 7 Tour de France wins.

I've heard about this book, just recently in fact. What does it say about Ralph?

The Pats cheated. They won SB's when they cheated. They haven't won one since. It's all you need to know. Armstrong was stripped of his wins for cheating. Bonds and McGuire are forever tainted. So should be Pats SB wins.

The international cycling community and the Baseball Writers of America are vindictive and self righteous, though. They live to tear down what they've built up.

The NFL is still busy playing Human Centipede with the Pats.

That is exactly how they should be looked upon - just like Clemons, Bonds, Armstrong, etc.

Cheating makes the world go round. Getting caught is the real issue. Sports fans support the drug culture in sports as long as the drug tests are passed. Does anyone ever show up to traffic court prepared to plead guilty even when the radar gun caught you fair and square? Everybody lies and cheats in their own way when the prospect of losing money enters the picture. If you're dishonest about the small stuff in your life, how would you handle the big stuff? If you're the type to fight traffic tickets even when your caught red handed, you would probably be rocking some PEDs if millions of dollars were on the table. Hell, Viagra is a PED for many people, and how many of those people will own up to their old ladies about that? When money is on the line, sports and games become business, and that business has a bottom line for everyone involved. PEDs are becoming pervasive in law enforcement and the military, but of course that is different.

In 3 years what will you have to do in New England? Nothing.

Hope you are hiding your Bruins jersey.

Fair weather fans...

Great post. Generations of NFL/MLB/NHL players used PEDs and either no one knew or no one cared. The phony indignation surrounding this issue gets harder to take all the time. When things are going good, no one cares and no one asks. When times are tough, everyone looks at what everyone else has and starts preaching. It was and perhaps still is pervasive (anyone still curious as to why the NFLPA fought the HGH testing?). There really is no need to believe any player is completely clean. None. Doing so only leads to fake disappointment later.

This is entertainment--entertain me. At this point, I have diminishing interest in the PED story line. These guys are all looking for an edge and science will provide them with one--one way or another. In reality, it doubtfully changes them much in regard to rising above their colleagues. Who are the best steroid-aided players ever? If the Bills went on an institutional program of administering banned but untestable substances, I wouldn't really be very indignant about it, especially if it lead to better results than they have had for over a decade--but I seriously doubt it would.
