Webster Guy Posted October 22, 2012 Share Posted October 22, 2012 The Bills need to accept the fact that they cannot get pressure with four guys and they can't cover very well with 7. They should drop 8 and rush 3 far more often than they do. Hey if you're not going to get to the qb anyway, then put another safety on the field to roam and to double team. Then every once in awhile bring 5 or 6 and keep the offense guessing. Wanny's refusal to shake up this defense is maddening. We are getting embarassed every week now with the massive yards and points given up. What in the world do we possibly have to lose by trying some different looks? Wanny said going in that he wasn't going to rely on complex packages to generate pressure, that he would let his front four get pressure. Which is another way of saying he wasn't really going to gameplan. That just makes the opposing OC's job incredibly easier, cuz now they don't have to gameplan to neutralize anything surprising.
