BuffaloBillsForever Posted October 21, 2012 Posted October 21, 2012 (edited) This defense is totally inexecusable. Perhaps historically on the trend for the worst defense of all time. His scheme is partially part of the problem. On the last touchdown you have to bring pressure. This is the most uninspiring defensive scheme I have ever witnessed. A guy like Mangini, even though historically is a 3-4 guy I believe can tighten this defense in a couple of weeks. Hire Mangini. He can fix scheme problems. Best Player Available Posted October 21, 2012 Posted October 21, 2012 Doesn't matter who takes his place. He loses games, he's got to go now.
BuffaloBillsForever Posted October 21, 2012 Author Posted October 21, 2012 Doesn't matter who takes his place. He loses games, he's got to go now. You invest over 100 MILLION DOLLARS and you are on the trend of having the worst defense in the history of the NFL. It starts with the defensive coordinator.
Dan Posted October 21, 2012 Posted October 21, 2012 I agree. A change has to be made. The offense just can't be expected to score on every possesion; lie the defense lets opposing teams do. It's absolutely horrendous. The Titans are not a premier offense, and our defense made them look like one.
marauderswr80 Posted October 21, 2012 Posted October 21, 2012 Kyle Moore got more pressure then Mr. 100 million!!
Jerry Jone's Toupee Posted October 21, 2012 Posted October 21, 2012 Good time to do it. What can it hurt?
Billshank Redemption Posted October 21, 2012 Posted October 21, 2012 completely agree get him the !@#$ out of here
The-scout Posted October 21, 2012 Posted October 21, 2012 Kyle Moore got more pressure then Mr. 100 million!! Actually Kyle Moore and Chris Kelsey have provided the most pressure from the edge.
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted October 21, 2012 Posted October 21, 2012 who do you replace him with? Any mid-season firing comes simply with an internal promotion. Who on the staff replaces him?
tbonehawaii Posted October 21, 2012 Posted October 21, 2012 Aditionally Fitzy refuses to be a game manager when he needs to be. I have no idea why Jackson was even signed if he's not going to be looked at.
qwksilver Posted October 21, 2012 Posted October 21, 2012 This efense is more difficult to watch than djauron's!
Dan Posted October 21, 2012 Posted October 21, 2012 who do you replace him with? Any mid-season firing comes simply with an internal promotion. Who on the staff replaces him? You. Honestly a fan from the stands couldn't do worse than ...the worst defense in the league.
BuffaloFan68 Posted October 21, 2012 Posted October 21, 2012 I say we Fire Wanny and then bench Fitz if we want to get this team headed in the right direction this year.
boyst Posted October 21, 2012 Posted October 21, 2012 would you consider coaching changes on defense? chan: NO!
CSBill Posted October 21, 2012 Posted October 21, 2012 You or I could call plays better than him, its obvious, for whatever reasons, that the front four cannot generate consistent pressure. So, hey, call a blitz once in a while, get aggressive! Passive defense has never worked in this league, and I think the evidence is over-whelming, its not working in Buffalo.
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted October 21, 2012 Posted October 21, 2012 You. Honestly a fan from the stands couldn't do worse than ...the worst defense in the league. My game plan: I would take Wanny's playbook and write on the top, "do the exact opposite."
BuffaloFan68 Posted October 21, 2012 Posted October 21, 2012 My 18 year old nephew could do a better job coaching this D.
buffalover4life Posted October 21, 2012 Posted October 21, 2012 who do you replace him with? Any mid-season firing comes simply with an internal promotion. Who on the staff replaces him? Bob sanders we just need some one who understadnsthe word adjustment . . and blitz..and goalline...
