Chandemonium Posted October 21, 2012 Posted October 21, 2012 Just got the inactive list via text, and potter was on it.
boyst Posted October 21, 2012 Posted October 21, 2012 (edited) K Potter inactive! Morrison a healthy scratch? others: Delano Howell, Craig Urbik, Cordy Glenn (oops), Mark Anderson. Any idea whats up with Potter? As said in the shout box, maybe it is because the Bills want David Snow active with two linemen out vs. having a kicking specialist and when it came down to it they thought this the best approach. jimmy10 Posted October 21, 2012 Posted October 21, 2012 Maybe also putting Potter on notice. Chan couldn't have been more clear this week that he's disappointed with the pedestrian rate of touchbacks.

Chan couldn't have been more clear this week that he's disappointed with the pedestrian rate of touchbacks. In shoutbox I also mentioned that the Titans are 7th in the league for returns, avg of 27.7 per return with one return for TD. 21 of their 27 returns have gone for over 20 yards. The also lead the league in total return yards. Edited October 21, 2012 by jboyst62
JM57 Posted October 21, 2012 Posted October 21, 2012 Tarik Glenn eh? Didn't know he was making a comeback
SEOhio Bills Fan Posted October 21, 2012 Posted October 21, 2012 Is Morrison in the doghouse? I think he's the only player on active roster that has been inactive every game so far.
DanInUticaTampa Posted October 21, 2012 Posted October 21, 2012 Is Morrison in the doghouse? I think he's the only player on active roster that has been inactive every game so far. No. They are just playing the younger guys, because it has worked so well. I honestly wish they would put him in. The defense can't look worse with him out there
The Avenger Posted October 21, 2012 Posted October 21, 2012 Putting Potter on the bench to force Homerun Throwback II......
UConn James Posted October 21, 2012 Posted October 21, 2012 Yeah, if Potter can't send KOs into the end zone as has been the case the last couple-few weeks, then WTF is he holding a roster spot for? Lindell can't do that? Lindell's gonna get leg fatigue from KOs in addition to his 2/2 FGs and some XPs through 1/3 of the season?
San Jose Bills Fan Posted October 21, 2012 Posted October 21, 2012 Probably need to merge threads. Anyways, among other things, this means Shawne Merriman is active.

The opponents are bringing the ball out even when its 5-8 yards deep.
San Jose Bills Fan Posted October 21, 2012 Posted October 21, 2012 Potter is reaching the end zone fine. The opponents are bringing the ball out even when its 5-8 yards deep. I think the expectation was that he'd be booming them through the end zone fairly regularly.
CSBill Posted October 21, 2012 Posted October 21, 2012 Potter is reaching the end zone fine. The opponents are bringing the ball out even when its 5-8 yards deep. However, I thought Potter would be consistently putting them through the end zone. If he can't, then I agree, use his roster spot for a bigger need.
