DC Tom Posted October 19, 2012 Posted October 19, 2012 Screw the two party system. Neither party represents me Generally, the parties don't cater to the stoner faux-hipster dumbass spandex mafia crowd.
Pete Posted October 19, 2012 Author Posted October 19, 2012 Generally, the parties don't cater to the stoner faux-hipster dumbass spandex mafia crowd. so what do you think of Gary Johnson's views?
The Big Cat Posted October 19, 2012 Posted October 19, 2012 so what do you think of Gary Johnson's views? I think he should use more of those individual's money to hire a better copy writer/graphics guy. I also think that pledging allegiance based on this type of simplified showboating is like saying Chan Gailey is the greatest coach in the NFL because he announced to the media today that he wants to beat Tennessee 51-0.
Chef Jim Posted October 19, 2012 Posted October 19, 2012 so what do you think of Gary Johnson's views? Absurd.
dayman Posted October 19, 2012 Posted October 19, 2012 Well clearly Johnson has no problem lying about Obama and Romney's views, he would fit right in w/ both of them on stage in a debate. Either Obama or Romney could checkmate him of course, with the simple question of "Do you realize you would not get done 1 single thing you say you want to do?"
DC Tom Posted October 19, 2012 Posted October 19, 2012 so what do you think of Gary Johnson's views? Childish and unrealistic. Need I point out that I understand your support for him?
/dev/null Posted October 19, 2012 Posted October 19, 2012 I haven't had a chance to watch this yet but thought it might be relevant: http://ivn.us/ca-election-center/2012/10/11/ivn-us-to-host-first-online-presidential-debate/ Gary Johnson may end up being to Romney as Ralph Nader was to Manbearpig
Nanker Posted October 19, 2012 Posted October 19, 2012 I haven't had a chance to watch this yet but thought it might be relevant: http://ivn.us/ca-ele...dential-debate/ Gary Johnson may end up being to Romney as Ralph Nader was to Manbearpig And that would be a wonderful achievement, now wouldn't it. JHFC, we've got to throw BO out of office.
Shoutbox Posted October 19, 2012 Posted October 19, 2012 Gary is a fraud and not a true libertarian. Awesome post. My favorite part is where you backed up your statement with lots of supporting facts.
dayman Posted October 19, 2012 Posted October 19, 2012 Gary is a fraud and not a true libertarian. I think all libertarians are frauds, but like Mark Miller I would like to know why Gary Johnson is a fraud among frauds.
TakeYouToTasker Posted October 19, 2012 Posted October 19, 2012 I think all libertarians are frauds, but like Mark Miller I would like to know why Gary Johnson is a fraud among frauds. I'll be patiently waiting while your ignorant ass comes up with a well thought out argument detailing why you think I'm a fraud. Then, once you're done, I'll **** all over you and rip your myopic viewpoint to shreds.

I did not mean to say that all libertarians are frauds...which I know is exactly what I said Edited October 19, 2012 by TheNewBills
3rdnlng Posted October 19, 2012 Posted October 19, 2012 lol allow me to clarify, I think all libertarian candidates who have been contenders for POTUS are fraudulent in their promises of what they could/would actually accomplish (even more so than mainstream party candidates) ... dayman Posted October 19, 2012 Posted October 19, 2012 To be clear some of the things w/ this guy looking at the above picture...reduce spending by 43%, abolish the fed, against bailouts (does this mean he was against bailing out banks in the crisis? wtf is this), he was on sirius saying he would balance the budget in 1 year...I mean this just sounds like nonsense to me.

Because it is.
TakeYouToTasker Posted October 19, 2012 Posted October 19, 2012 lol allow me to clarify, I think all libertarian candidates who have been contenders for POTUS are fraudulent in their promises of what they could/would actually accomplish (even more so than mainstream party candidates) ... I did not mean to say that all libertarians are frauds...which I know is exactly what I said Apology accepted. To avoid this sort of problem in the future, you should differentiate between big "L" Libertarians and little "L" libertarians. Libertarian is representative of the Libertarian Party, which has always tended to focus on libertarian reforms of socialist and corporatist programs and structures; which is a far cry from libertarian philosophy, which is internally logically consistant and is synonymous with classical liberalism.
TakeYouToTasker Posted October 19, 2012 Posted October 19, 2012 (edited) Google it, Sue. You can start with reading Karl Denningjer's thoughts on Gary Johnson. You make a statement, you back it up with an argument which you source. You don't get to make accusations, post a bunch of unlabled links, and then demand that everyone else do the work for your lazy ass, reading through pages of op-ed pieces trying to divine your opinion. Or is it that you aren't skilled enough to make an argument? Edited October 19, 2012 by TakeYouToTasker

Pete Posted October 19, 2012 Author Posted October 19, 2012 End the fed, no bailouts, do not increase spending, cut defense, first ammendment, legalize weed and gay marriage, uphold the constitution, life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness!
