ganesh Posted January 3, 2005 Posted January 3, 2005 Now that the season has ended, here is what I feel about the coaching staff. Defense: Built a solid defense...Good run defense...Good against coverage. Achilles Heel: Inability to stop 3rd and long conversions. It started with the Jacksonville game and ended with the Steelers game. Special Teams: Outstanding in Kickoff Return/Punt Return/Punt coverage. Average in kickoff coverage. However did not give big returns througout the year. Achilles Heel: Kicking game. Was horrible, especially in the clutch and beyond 40 yards...Again the problem started in the JAX game and ended with it showing up in the Steelers game. Offense: What can I say....Bag of mixed emotions.....Played lousy at the beginning and then started to assert themselves with the running game. Improved the 3rd down conversions from last year but choked in all the big games (Jax, Baltimore, NE, Pittsburgh) when the game/season was on the line.
Justice Posted January 3, 2005 Posted January 3, 2005 B- I felt they coached scared at the beginning of the season and reverted back to that very same style yesterday, but overall I think the coaching staff is above average.
