BringBackFergy Posted October 18, 2012 Posted October 18, 2012 Since the end of 2010 season, our defense has permitted 5 of the all time best QB rating games for opposing QB's. I didn't think we were that bad, but this puts a whole new perspective on things. From 2010-2012 we have allowed Sanchez, Romo, Brady, Alex Smith and Matt Moore to have career days against us...more than any other NFL team (other teams like Chicago 2008-09, TB in 2009, San Diego, Oakland all have a few). This is a real kick in the drawers. http://espn.go.com/nfl/qbr/_/year/0/type/alltime-game
KD in CA Posted October 18, 2012 Posted October 18, 2012 I have a hard time taking an analysis seriously that concludes Charlie Batch had the greatest game ever for a QB.

You make a great point. As they say "Stats are for losers"; but in this case, even Sanchise had a career day against us.

I don't care who the QB is but his numbers for the game aren't even that great: 12/17 for 186 yards with 3TDs and 2 INTs 5 runs for 26 yards THAT'S the greatest game a QB has ever had in the past few seasons? Somehow that's a better game than Palmer's 20/24 for 233yds 5TDs 0INTs Edited October 18, 2012 by MDH

ny33 Posted October 19, 2012 Posted October 19, 2012 QBR is an absolute joke. Look at Brad Smith's rating from last week.
Geno Smith's Arm Posted October 19, 2012 Posted October 19, 2012 (edited) I'm done with stats based on performances in games I watched. I can tell with my own eyes that the Bills defense has sucked, or that certain players, regardless of stats, aren't performing well (or that some are). Just watch the games...
