Miyagi-Do Karate
Making it this far is about as good as I expected. They didn't play too well but they just had way more talent than Cal. I haven't followed Indiana too much, hopefully they don't have anyone like Blake Griffin or Jared Sullinger to completely outclass them in the next round. Indiana probably has the best guard in the country in oladipo. He's 6'5" and does everything on defense and offense. And they have a great big in zeller. So, basically they have 2 zone busters. We're going to have to be really sharp on offense to have a chance.
BuffOrange
I think Indiana is a bad matchup. Seems like the sort of team that gets a million offensive rebounds vs us. Plus they have a bunch of 40% 3pt guys. Triche please get your head out of your @ss - nobody is buying your lame shot fake when you shoot 28%. inkman
Meh if they lose to IU, I won't be upset. What you've said a d what I've heard, Cuse should be happy to make it competitive.

Hulls is going to have a tough time getting his shot off against the length of our zone. On the flip side, Oladipo is pretty much going to erase whomever he's matched up against. BuffOrange
Lets go Owls! Pretty dumb of Crean to sit Zeller the whole half w/ 2 fouls. Wyatt is a baller.
Miyagi-Do Karate
I went back to read the cuse/temple game recap. Wyatt had over 30 against us too. This guy can play.
Miyagi-Do Karate
Temple blew it. For any Copland fans out there, this is what my friends and I circulate when someone "blows it."
Johnny Hammersticks
Bump! Let's go Orange!!! Rumor: Gerry McNamara to be next head coach of Siena College??????? Johnny Hammersticks
Huh? Not saying that it's not going to happen, but what has he done to earn a D-1 head coaching job? Yeah...I know it's way out there, and just a wild rumor at this point. It is not completely inconceivable, however, as Gerry does have almost two seasons worth of assistant coaching experience under Jim Boeheim. That has to count for something I suppose. Could be a nice "bump" for a downtrodden program like Siena coming off an absolutely horrible season. A young coach, with a national championship under his belt as a player, and assistant coaching experience at a major Division I program like Syracuse? Who knows? For the record, this rumor did not come from my "source" within the SU athletics department.
Johnny Hammersticks
FWIW....JB stated in a press conference today that he will definitely be coaching next season. Hopefully, that can put to rest all the rumors of his retirement. Well, at least until next season

Miyagi-Do Karate
I am starting to be more hopeful about the game tomorrow. if we shoot well, I think our zone could flummox these guys.
BuffOrange
They're not a great defensive team at all. I think basically it will come down to 3pt shooting. Which means advantage them but we have a puncher's chance.

Johnny Hammersticks
They have a 6'9 player who shoots 48% from behind the arc. Yikes. We have a 6'8" player who shoots 49% from behind the arc, and another 6'8" player who shoots 40% from behind the arc. Too bad our guards are such lousy 3 point shooters. Hopefully at least Triche gets in the groove tonight...maybe we'll get one or two from MCW/Cooney.

Unfortunately, the odds of that happening are zero percent. I am just hoping that "mediocre Triche" shows, not "bad Triche."
