Damond Talbot Posted October 18, 2012 Posted October 18, 2012 Bowe has reportedly expressed his unhappiness with Jason Cole of Yahoo Sports. Cole says that one team could be Miami, but I am hearing that Buffalo will definitely look at him if he is available for trade. It could be what saves Chan. http://nomorelinks.com/draft-news/dwayne-bowe-wants-out-of-kansas-city-could-he-be-headed-to-buffalo/
Big C Posted October 18, 2012 Posted October 18, 2012 Bowe is a great receiver. I saw that he's in a contract year and I was hoping we could make a move on him,

NoSaint Posted October 18, 2012 Posted October 18, 2012 Is this just pure speculation on your part? Does his time overlap chans in kc? If so was it a positive time for each?
buffalo_bills Posted October 18, 2012 Posted October 18, 2012 Incarcerated Bob on twitter just tweeted that the Bills are one of the teams in contact with the Chiefs about Bowe...

GoBills! Posted October 18, 2012 Posted October 18, 2012 Excellent now who will throw the ball deep to him ?
mrags Posted October 18, 2012 Posted October 18, 2012 I'd love the move. And not that I'm a big fan of Cassel, but he is younger and has more upside than Fitz. Let's package them. I'd love the move. G-Daddy Posted October 18, 2012 Posted October 18, 2012 Excellent now who will throw the ball deep to him ? Signed on to post exactly this thought....+1. Hopefully Tavaris Jackson is getting extra reps these days.

Never NEVER Give-up Posted October 18, 2012 Posted October 18, 2012 Stevie Johnson's really good too . . . . now if we could only find a way to get him the ball more than 10 yards downfield! Hey, if we could land Bowe - we could multiply that issue times 2!! I love Fitz - great guy, family man, yadda, yadda, yadda, but he is proving weekly, that he is not a top NFL QB! Years ago, when we had Jim Kelly taking us to the playoffs each year, I chuckled at other teams efforts to improve. The Jets had a good team - but no QB. The same with the Pats - no QB, then Bledsoe came along and they improved, but still weren't great, because as we NOW know, Bledsoe is an enigma - and was never that good. In the NFL, you need a top QB to succeed. We thought with good coaching, Fitz could elevate his game - but it doesn't look like it'll ever happen. We're a better team, but we don't have a QB. T.Jackson may be an improvement, but he obviously is still at the Huntington Learning Center trying to get the complicated playbook down! Buddy and Chan have a next-to-impossible task confronting them - finding a top-flight QB. FA? Draft? Trade?? Who knows? But one thing is relatively certain, Fitz ain't the answer and the Bills will continue to be middling - winning 4-7 games per year and missing out on the best QB's when they come out of college. Too good to draft #1 or #2, and so bad we usually draft around #10 - a recipe for mediocrity! Remember, we missed Big Ben by 1 pick - so we traded up for Losman. That didn't work. We need to do a Colts maneuver - like suck for Luck . . . . we need to barf for Barkley!! And he's no sure thing either!!
Damond Talbot Posted October 18, 2012 Author Posted October 18, 2012 If we get Bo that would be huge because we really need a #2. Chan was his OC in KC, but I did talk to an insider today about it.
Captain Hindsight Posted October 18, 2012 Posted October 18, 2012 I think Miami is more likely although Id do a backflip if we got him
superbills315 Posted October 18, 2012 Posted October 18, 2012 i think he will end up with Miami for a first and 3 rd pick but idk if he would sign a long term contract http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2012/10/17/report-dwayne-bowe-wants-out-of-kansas-city-very-badly/

I'm not even trying to use this thread to beat up on Fitz, it's just true. He can't even get the best out of what he has already.
....lybob Posted October 18, 2012 Posted October 18, 2012 I see about five QBs in the upcoming draft that I find of interest as compared to the last 3-4 years when there was only 1 or 2 , so I wouldn't want to trade that 1st round pick for Bowe.
You herd it hear last Posted October 18, 2012 Posted October 18, 2012 we should take the opportunity to stack our offense for our drafted fitzplacement next year...
Santana Posted October 18, 2012 Posted October 18, 2012 Man if we had Bowe that would be awesome, he already knows Chan's ridiculous offense anyway so the adjustment wouldn't take too too long but word on the streets is that he's headed to Miami.
GoBills! Posted October 18, 2012 Posted October 18, 2012 I would trade 2nd and 3rd if he signed a extension then use our first for a qb...rarely do you have a pro bowl calibre guarantee in the 2nd or 3rd with the chance to sign him long term..this way we can use the first for a qb or trade this years first and another pick for a real deal qb higher up in the draft
