nick in* england Posted January 3, 2005 Posted January 3, 2005 Buffalo: Not because I coached there, but the Bills have a lot of pieces in place. You can start with Willis McGahee, a great defense on the rise and a fine coaching staff, but they have other components, too. They have a superb kicking game, the addition of wide receiver Lee Evans proved to be big and I like the way J.P. Losman plays. Are we really going to see JP start next season?? I think he'll be given every opportunity.
BillnutinHouston Posted January 3, 2005 Posted January 3, 2005 This just in - Marv hasn't been our coach for several years. What he says about our personnel is irrelevant and has no bearing on who plays and who doesn't. He's a voice in the wilderness in search of a head coaching job.
Dante Posted January 3, 2005 Posted January 3, 2005 We have to. The offence has hit the ceileing with DB.
scribo Posted January 3, 2005 Posted January 3, 2005 I really think the Bills should hire Marv as an assistant head coach. This has nothing to do with his opinion on JP. He wants to coach again, but we have a good head coach already, so why not help him get back into it by letting him help us?
DPR4444 Posted January 3, 2005 Posted January 3, 2005 Marv was a great coach, but as an analyst of the current NFL he rarely has a negative thing to say about anybody.
