truth on hold Posted October 16, 2012 Posted October 16, 2012 Yeah, and there would be about a half dozen other bad calls they wouldn't hear the end of either. Yeah like the pair of bogus off sides on rivers LOL
BringBackFergy Posted October 16, 2012 Author Posted October 16, 2012 wow, who is worse. Rivers, Vick or Fitz? Tonight- Rivers This Season- Vick and Fitz tied.
Kelly the Dog Posted October 16, 2012 Posted October 16, 2012 My wife, not the biggest football fan in the world just saw a TV shot of Philip Rivers and proclaimed, "Wow, that guy looks like a total sleazebag." Maye she does know something about football. Or sleazebags.
San Jose Bills Fan Posted October 16, 2012 Posted October 16, 2012 Yeah like the pair of bogus off sides on rivers LOL So what exactly is your point? That the replacements were just as good as the regular officials and were unfairly criticized?
NoSaint Posted October 16, 2012 Posted October 16, 2012 So what exactly is your point? That the replacements were just as good as the regular officials and were unfairly criticized? That he's feeling needy and wants attention tonight. They must've run him out of PPP already.
Jim in Anchorage Posted October 16, 2012 Posted October 16, 2012 Peyton Manning is done as a top qb in this league he has looked every bit his age and not just today. A sure fire hall of fame career, but this is what it looks like when a great reaches the end of the line Where can the Bills acquire one of these end of the line QBs?
miserable_fan Posted October 16, 2012 Posted October 16, 2012 Peyton Manning is a freak of nature. Unbelievable
BringBackFergy Posted October 16, 2012 Author Posted October 16, 2012 Where can the Bills acquire one of these end of the line QBs? I hear Brett Favre is available.
San Jose Bills Fan Posted October 16, 2012 Posted October 16, 2012 Peyton Manning is a freak of nature. Unbelievable Yeah I was foolishly skeptical of his ability to recover from the multiple neck surgeries. A freak of nature is exactly what he is. Adrian Peterson is kind of amazing too.
Rob's House Posted October 16, 2012 Posted October 16, 2012 I hear Brett Favre is available. That's what I've been saying.
TheFunPolice Posted October 16, 2012 Posted October 16, 2012 I love watching Peyton play! One of my favorite football players..... Glad to see him having a nice comeback so far.... Hopefully he can hold up and play 3-4 more seasons and get another ring or two (so long as it doesn't involve him beating the Bills in the playoffs)
San Jose Bills Fan Posted October 16, 2012 Posted October 16, 2012 Gnight fellas. Great game. Gnight John-boy. I love watching Peyton play! One of my favorite football players..... Glad to see him having a nice comeback so far.... Hopefully he can hold up and play 3-4 more seasons and get another ring or two (so long as it doesn't involve him beating the Bills in the playoffs) Yeah I've always put Manning above Brady. I know a lot of people disagree with that but I'd rather have Peyton.
GG Posted October 16, 2012 Posted October 16, 2012 Or sleazebags. Enough that she's still married to me ...
PromoTheRobot Posted October 16, 2012 Posted October 16, 2012 Rivers now has more INTs (9) and more INTs per attempt (1/22.5) than Fitz. PTR
San Jose Bills Fan Posted October 16, 2012 Posted October 16, 2012 Rivers now has more INTs (9) and more INTs per attempt (1/22.5) than Fitz. PTR And no one mentioned Robert Meachem in this thread unless I missed it. I think that's interesting. We're usually a pretty tough crowd.
Stealth Posted October 16, 2012 Posted October 16, 2012 (edited) Are we really comparing Fitz to Rivers?!?! hahaha Career Totals 105 95.4 2044 3205 63.8 25536 243.2 8.0 171 83- Rivers Career Totals 63 75.6 1138 1927 59.1 12146 192.8 6.3 80 73- Fitzpatrick This was Rivers first 4 int game in his career. Rivers faults begin and end with the cockiest gm in football AJ Smith and Norv Turner. This is the same Philip Rivers who played in an AFC Championship against NE on a torn pcl and strained ACL while the great Tomlinson sulked on the sidelines. What comes off to people as being a cry baby is just not true. Rivers has heart to go along with being pretty damn talented Edited October 16, 2012 by Stealth
TheFunPolice Posted October 16, 2012 Posted October 16, 2012 How Norv Turner is still employed is really beyond me... has anyone does less with more talent (on a consistent basis nonetheless)?
PromoTheRobot Posted October 16, 2012 Posted October 16, 2012 http://forums.chargers.com/showthread.php?t=95577&page=222 Hey, these guys sound just like us! Sick of their team and worried about them moving to L.A.! PTR
