Would be awesome but Buddy may need another cornerback first. He loves him some cornerback

True, he loves him some CB, especially from southern schools, but Buddy loves him some franchise QB even more.

Cutler does not strike me as a guy who enjoys the herb.

Are you kidding? His look is 100 percent stoner. His eyes look baked even when he's not getting sacked 10 times in a game.

Bills QB:

  • Rob Johnson's ability
  • Doug Flutie's height
  • Drew Bledsoe's mobility
  • Ryan Fitzpatrick's accuracy
  • Trent Edward's decision making
  • Brian Brohm's "potential"
  • JP Losman's hair

We did say we were designing a Bills QB, right?

And Billy Joe Hobert's knowledge of the playbook.

I disagree. Regardless, I say we package picks for Geno. Or at least try to. This is the draft to try it.

Big Ben

None of those are 'not' Big Ben. The orange are the only possible issues, but he highlights the rest (green).

Chan designs his game to the teams strengths as he sees them.

QB is a weakness right now. no offense Ryan but..

If Ryan could actually throw a deep ball or lead a receiver who is flying (TJ ?) i think we would be a playoff team right now.

Considering our potential position in the draft, i think the coach still coaches to the qb's skill set.

They all wish they had a Luck or a Griffin dont they?

Ben Rothlisberger

I don't like beg Ben the person, but he's my favorite qb to watch play. He looks so big and slow and dumb, but he sees the whole field, and has eyes in the back of his head. I call him Big-Slippery - he's elusive and, you knoe, because he's such a dick.

I'll know it when I see it...and I've only seen it once in Buffalo.

Give me a guy who makes more plays than he gives up. Give me a guy who wants the ball. That's it.

I have already looked at lots of video of draftable QB's, and realized, "I'm going at this backwards! Let me look at what Chan and Nix are saying when they talk about players and QB's, then I'll have a better idea of what the Bills would be looking for in April 2013."

When they speak of player qualities they value, Chan and/or Nix have mentioned:

1. maturity

2. chemistry

3. limits turnovers

4. efficient in the red zone

5. moves on (stays "level", not too emotional--the AntiCutler)

6. can run

7. slides!

8. can play in the elements

9. responds to adversity

10. studious

What other qualities would you add?

My therapist says I should stop projecting.

You are AWESOME!

No QB's from anywhere west of the state of Kansas...

Eliminate any QB's from the SEC.

After that....it's a pick em game.

Please explain eliminating QB's from the SEC. They have known pressure, big games, crowd noise, and fake blond cheerleaders. Seriously, is it because they haven't known snow?

The only problem with "makes more plays than he gives up" is I see a game manager type QB like McCarron, and I'm pretty sure that's not whom your'e talking about.

The only other quality I would as is...

Geno Smith.

Smart

Poised

Leader

Diligent (studies film like a fiend)

Accurate

Limits turnovers

Excellent mechanics

Strong arm that can stretch a defense

GO BILLS!!!

Agreed...The design is set...He plays at WVU currently...GET HIM!!! B-)

I also disagree with this...have we forgotten about Peyton Manning, Eli Manning, Cam Newton, our own Joe Ferguson, Joe Namath, Jay Cutler (I know he's a cry baby, but I honestly believe he's better than any QB on our roster), Matt Stafford, Sam Bradford, and a bunch of others. I would love to have AJ McCarron on our team next year if he comes out, or maybe Tyler Wilson. I do not believe any of the other SEC guys are ready yet, but I think it would be downright foolish to eliminate the SEC QB's.
