Buffalo Barbarian Posted October 14, 2012 Posted October 14, 2012 Besides the fact the team would stay in Buffalo, why Kelly? What other reason do you need? Besides I believe as owner he would do whatever it takes to win being a former player who lost 4 superbowls. That hunger still burns in him and is exactly what this franchise needs. Terry Pegula. also a good option
truth on hold Posted October 14, 2012 Posted October 14, 2012 An LA based consortium including Magic Johnson. Or New York based consortium including Milstein Properties if the stadium is moved to downtown Niagara falls.
benderbender Posted October 14, 2012 Posted October 14, 2012 Mark Cuban would buy the team and move it to moon
FLutieFLakesPLZnoOJ Posted October 14, 2012 Posted October 14, 2012 Mark Cuban would buy the team and move it to moon Now that's home field advantage
Jim in Anchorage Posted October 14, 2012 Posted October 14, 2012 Mark Cuban would buy the team and move it to moon You think they kick long field goals in Denver? " This will be from 670 yards. And it's good!"
Tcali Posted October 14, 2012 Posted October 14, 2012 I thought the post was very insightful. After spending 120 million on a below average defensive end...its just the kind of thing to happen to the bills.
Ramius Posted October 14, 2012 Posted October 14, 2012 You think they kick long field goals in Denver? " This will be from 670 yards. And it's good!" Fitz might be able to throw 40 yards down field too.
Jim in Anchorage Posted October 14, 2012 Posted October 14, 2012 Fitz might be able to throw 40 yards down field too. And miss by a hundred
8-8 Forever? Posted October 14, 2012 Posted October 14, 2012 I think he meant Cary Elwes who had the role of Robin Hood… the outlaw who stole from the rich and gave to the poor. That's the kind of guy that would take on a $700m obligation to run a business in Buffalo.
machine gun kelly Posted October 14, 2012 Posted October 14, 2012 These were some of the funniest replies I've read in a while. It almost made up for the grandpa story of which I'm pissed at myself for actually reading the whole damn thing.
BUFFALOKIE Posted October 14, 2012 Posted October 14, 2012 At least he got laid. Too cheap to use a rubber though
Orton's Arm Posted October 14, 2012 Author Posted October 14, 2012 Too cheap to use a rubber though And by not marrying the mother, he saved the cost of a wedding.
Luxy312 Posted October 14, 2012 Posted October 14, 2012 Tom Golisano. Much of the local media has him as well as a collection of Jim Kelly and 3 other investors involved to keep the team in WNY.
chris heff Posted October 14, 2012 Posted October 14, 2012 ...and what became of the two sons who interited the wealth? One moved to Detroit and started an insurance company.
Fan in San Diego Posted October 14, 2012 Posted October 14, 2012 Depends on when RW passes. If LA doesn't have a team when RW passes I would say AEG in LA, if LA has a team then a Buffalo based group.
Tcali Posted October 14, 2012 Posted October 14, 2012 One moved to Detroit and started an insurance company. haha
Best Player Available Posted October 14, 2012 Posted October 14, 2012 What other reason do you need? Jim Kelly a NFL owner LOL! When will it stop. Does anyone know if "Jim Kelly Enterprises" ever finished paying off his creditors when he went bankrupt? I doubt Jimbo would even sit on the board much less be a part owner.
