Canadian Bills Fan Posted October 15, 2012 Posted October 15, 2012 (edited) Can he throw a 7-yard slant? Or run the Wildcat CBF Edited October 15, 2012 by Canadian_Bills_Fan
flmike Posted October 15, 2012 Posted October 15, 2012 How much of leader can a guy who was cut be? Just wondering.
West End Stench Posted October 15, 2012 Posted October 15, 2012 The all important, but always lacking, link. http://www.buffalobills.com/news/article-2/Merriman-returns-to-Bills/e89c0976-7de8-4bfe-b6b3-c00127601625
BillsVet Posted October 15, 2012 Posted October 15, 2012 (edited) Can he pick up Wannstedt's playbook or will he need the entire season to digest it? Guy said after being cut he wanted to play for a 3-4 team because that scheme fits him best. This makes no sense, because he's simply not a 40 front DE, left or right. Knowing Buddy he gave him guaranteed money too. Edited October 15, 2012 by BillsVet
peterpan Posted October 15, 2012 Posted October 15, 2012 Interesting, Merriman said he wanted to be a LB in a 3-4 when he was cut. I wonder if he will be going back to DE or OLB?
Captain Hindsight Posted October 15, 2012 Posted October 15, 2012 Not sure what role he will play. Moore looked good yesterday, but nonetheless happy to have him back
DC Tom Posted October 15, 2012 Posted October 15, 2012 This team is a !@#$ing joke. In a couple weeks, they'll probably bring back Moorman.
calbear Posted October 15, 2012 Posted October 15, 2012 But we cut two guys (Snow & Ross)... anyone have a sense as to who else we're bringing in? ROOSEVELT?!!! Are we getting the band back together!!
Donald Duck Posted October 15, 2012 Posted October 15, 2012 This team is a !@#$ing joke. In a couple weeks, they'll probably bring back Moorman. You Weenie!!!
Hsp08 Posted October 15, 2012 Posted October 15, 2012 This team is a !@#$ing joke. In a couple weeks, they'll probably bring back Moorman. How about Vince Young?
5 Wide Posted October 15, 2012 Posted October 15, 2012 Not much of a difference between a 3-4 rush backer and a 4-3 DE on 3rd and 8
calbear Posted October 15, 2012 Posted October 15, 2012 This team is a !@#$ing joke. In a couple weeks, they'll probably bring back Moorman. Hopefully! I think we've long-overlooked the opportunity to have both a punter for distance and another punter for directional punts.
DC Tom Posted October 15, 2012 Posted October 15, 2012 Hopefully! I think we've long-overlooked the opportunity to have both a punter for distance and another punter for directional punts. Then maybe we'll ignore them both and try long field goals...
The Avenger Posted October 15, 2012 Posted October 15, 2012 Now all we need to do is re-sign Maybin! Maybe Erik Flowers!

Knowing Buddy he gave him guaranteed money too. Doesn't make sense, but cutting him in the first place was odd. He certainly didn't play himself off the roster, and judging by the defensive performance in weeks 1-5, he couldn't have hurt. Maybe Mario is hurt?
Just Jack Posted October 15, 2012 Posted October 15, 2012 Now all we need to do is re-sign Maybin! Maybe Erik Flowers! Bring back Gabe Northern!
NEBuffaloBillsFan Posted October 15, 2012 Posted October 15, 2012 I love the move. Let's hope he can turn the "Light's On" for this D.
